Summary:
From Software, Ninja Blade is announced to be coming out sometime in January of 2009. The official website of the game has been updated with more information regarding the characters and story. Ninja Blade is about a person who is dressed-up as a ninja and he flies around modern day skyscrapers killing various monsters. Using xbox 360’s engine to the maximum, with fast-paced moves (similar to those in God of War) it makes the game fairly fun to play. The game would just be like watching a movie, but instead the player would be controlling. The story is mainly about this parasite that makes the host turn into monsters, in which this organization’s job is to exterminate them. In addition the organization hide the information in order to make the whole world stable and not turn into chaos. Then in 2015 August 12th, Japan there has been a new case of infections, which spread through the entire country, thus the United Nations sent one man to stop them all… In the game there would be many “ninja” moves, including walking on walls, and coming down buildings. The character would be equipped with various weapons which can make the game-play be a lot more diversified . Xbox 360’s Ninja Blade would be scheduled to come out on January 29th of 2009.
Review:
I’m sorry to say that I posted quite late today, but I’ll get back on my review for Ninja Blade. This game looks like a definite hit, since it looks like Devil May Cry in addition to the fact that it has a system similar to that in God of War. I will want to get this game next year, sadly enough I do not own a xbox360. I would like seeing the monsters get owned with various combos and weapons, furthermore I like the high-quality graphics that this game possesses. To be honest, I think that the story could be a little better, because I think that it looks uniqueness. Other than that, I think that this game will a great hit, and it definitely would be fun to play.

Wanted: Weapons of Fate
November 29, 2008 at 8:13 pm | In Video games | Leave a CommentTags: curved bullet, pc, ps3, wanted, wanted: weapons of fate, xbox 360

Summary:
Using a movie as this game’s base, there is a game named Wanted: Weapons of Fate scheduled to be released in the first season of next year. Looks like this game would include stunning graphics similar to those in the movie. The story would be continuing the story of the movie, in where the main character would be onto a new adventure. This game is a third-person shooting game, which uses the newest gaming engine to enhance the graphic quality of the kills, and fearsome battles. The game includes some things the movie does, for example the curved bullet which draws the player’s attention. This game would be released on pc,ps3, and xbox 360.
Review:
I don’t think I’ll get this game, maybe it is because I never watched the movie. The trailer looks pretty good but according to one of my teachers, the movie wasn’t good (just him maybe.) Even though with having the curved bullet in slow-motion, I think it would get quite repetitive until the point that the player wouldn’t want to watch the slow-motion at all. Personally, I do not recommended a serious gamer (like me) to buy this game, only buy it if you really liked the movie (like I said just my opinion.)

Chaos;Head Episode 5 Review
November 28, 2008 at 1:59 pm | In Anime, Chaos;Head | Leave a CommentTags: chaos, Chaos;Head, confusing, Di-sword, New Gene

Summary:
This episode starts off with showing Seira-tan waking up Takumi while Takumi is somehow dreaming about Rimi. After waking up, Takumi dresses up and goes to school and meets Kouze, the new transfer student. School ends, and Takumi is walking home and he suddenly sees Sena. He starts following Sena but is soon lost. Takumi looks on the ground to find a long line of chains leading to this place, he follows the chain which leads him to Sena. Sena locks him inside, and tells him a bunch of information having one of them talking about how humans can be controlled through electronics. The next scene shows Yua typing up an email and sending it to Takumi, in the email it states that she would be visiting him the following day. Upon receiving the email, Takumi decides to run away and hide at his usual Internet cafe. Near midnight, Yua slams the door and finds Takumi, then she puts her hand over his mouth and tells him to keep quiet. Yua now tells him that, she wants to help him because she is aware of him being the New Gene criminal, in addition to telling him that he has multiple personalities. Takumi regards her as his enemy so therefore he doesn’t believe in a thing she says to him. Takumi escapes and runs into a park, until he is chased by even more people. After a long time of running, Takumi somehow meets up with Ayayse and they run together because both of them are suspects of the New Gene incident. Both of them has a information-packed conversation with Takumi asking how to get the Di-Sword. Ayase shows him, but is unable to tell him directly how to get the sword. Furthermore, she says that the Di-Sword is something from another dimension. Later on, it shows a conversation between the police detectives, with the senpai explaining how Shibuya attracts so much young people due to something about gravity. The last part shows Takumi’s friend giving him a link to MewTube, which shows a bunch of people committing suicide, just before they jump a person says “Those eyes, who’s eyes are they?”. Upon seeing thus Takumi, believes that it is Shogun who has filmed this video, thus meaning he is responsible for the New Gene incident.
Review:
I quite liked this episode, even though I cannot have so much information process into my mind. Just like most of this series episodes it gets quite confusing but also quite interesting to watch. The development of the story in this episode was truly amazing, it clearly separates the people who wants to help Takumi, and the people who want to catch him. I’m extremely excited about how much this series will go, because there’s only 12 episodes (but it may just be season 1) so I’m really curious to how things will develop. I’m looking forward to the next episodes.

Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World
November 27, 2008 at 8:46 pm | In Video games | Leave a CommentTags: decemeber, dragon ball z, dragon ball z: infinite world, ps2

Summary:
Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World is going to be released on PS2 by Namco Bandai games on December. This time, the game has mixed systems from two series, which would undoubtly make this game a lot more interesting. In this new version, there would be more than two-hundred characters. The game still features the usual stuff like the cool moves for each character, and the super-saiyan transformations.
Review:
I’ve watched this series since I was a little kid back in Canada. I used to stay up camping the television watching Dragon Ball Z. I was extremely inclined to it, I bought so many things off it. When I grew up (now), I started watching stuff other than this, since back then this was like the only anime I knew of. Right now, I don’t really think this is as good as before, but I still like the awesome moves some of these guys can perform. The only disappointing part about the anime is that it gets repetitive. Now back onto the game, I might buy this if I’m really bored or something, but other than that I don’t really think I will. I just like hitting and bashing the opponent around and finally finishing them off with the cool moves.

Godfather 2
November 26, 2008 at 9:12 pm | In Video games | Leave a CommentTags: godfather, godfather 2, pc, ps3, xbox 360

Summary:
The producers of Godfather 2 releases some informationabout this upcoming game. In Godfather 2, the player would be moving into a completely new city and would be starting up his own family, by any means possible. The player will be aiming for the ultimate goal to become the strongest family in America while wiping out all the other families. The player has a special system that allows them to look at the whole world, thus making it able for the player to look at each and every move of the opposing families. Furthermore, the player can hire men, promote men, and learn how to organize a family. Godfather 2, emphasizes on a more open mafia world, and it is schedule to come out on pc, ps3 and xbox 360 sometime on February 2009.
Review:
The first time I saw this series was when it came out on Wii. I remember spending countless hours playing Godfather because it was fun to see the people beg for mercy, in addition to the excellent story plot (although you cannot skip it) I never really got 100% on the game, but I got somewhere pretty far into the game. Looks like Godfather 2 would be something I would be willing to get and play. With the new system and graphics, I guess that the killing would be a lot more entertaining. I can’t wait until next year, so I can get this along with some other games.

Sorry, I can’t post something good today, since I’m busy with some personal things…I tried getting in contact with bakarang3r although it looks like I cannot contact him. This is the first time a daily post is crappy and I hope you (the readers) can know how I feel because I have completely no time at all. On regards of bakarang3r, I have no idea if he remembers this blog or if he just feels lazy. I’m terribly sorry for all of this, including the fact of not pushing bakarang3r enough to write posts ( I see him around school ). All in all, I’m sorry for today and I wish everything can work out fine in the future. I assume I would have the chance to make this up by posting a review for tomorrow.

Dynasty Warriors Multi-Raid
November 24, 2008 at 8:35 pm | In Video games | Leave a CommentTags: dynasty warriors, koei, multiplayer, psp, winter

Summary:
Koei releases more information on their upcoming psp game scheduled for this winter, Dynasty Warriors Multi-Raid. The game uses the base of dynasty warriors 6 meaning that the characters are from that game. In addition, this game emphasizes on multiplayer modes and new systems. There is a new combo system in which when in multiplayer, the players all gang up on a certain character, for example Lu Bu, the gauge will fill up, upon being filled the players would all receive one special item. Furthermore, there is an element orb system which can be equipped on weapons. Every weapon can hold up to four element orbs out of the five elements (as of now) , Wood, Fire, Earth, Gold, and Water. Wood gives a certain chance to poison the enemy. Fire has a chance to burn the enemy. Earth makes the attack purple and have a chance to make the enemy go into an unknown state (don’t know how to explain) Water makes the enemy freeze by a chance. The generals/characters in the game would be able to carry items around with them for example the most common one is Meat Bun (包子 )
Review:
Dynasty Warrior had always been something I liked playing. Killing hundreds of people with just one character, how satisfying is that? In addition, I think that the characters/generals from Dynasty Warriors six rocks, since most of them look different and have new weapons. I own a psp so I guess this game would be something I would definitely get for it, because I can play it anywhere. I would try getting all my friends who have psps go get this game so we would be able to play multiplayer and see how owns more units. I really looking forward to this game, I can’t wait!

Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn! Episode 106 Review
November 23, 2008 at 8:57 pm | In Anime, Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn! | 1 CommentTags: comedy, hitman, Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn!, mosca, reborn!, tsuna, Vongola

Summary:
It starts off where the last episode was left, Lal Mirch defeated the fake/decoy Ginger by releasing her Pacifier. As a result, Lal Mirch is tired and cannot move around very quickly. Next, it shows Irie still being confused about the situation, after seeing the Tsuna and group appear on the monitor he is shocked since he didn’t notice them until now. After, it shows one of the higher ranked members of Millefiore saying how she noticed that the Vongola had infiltrated already. Tsuna and group upon noticing that they have been detected quickly blows up the surveillance system. After the explosion it shows Irie telling a person named Spanner to go intercept them with his Mosca squad. In addition Spanner tells Irie to close down the gate on the main route. Now it shows, Tsuna splitting up with the group since Lal Mirch do not have the strength to initialize their previous plan. The next scene shows, the Vongola base with Kyoko and Haru being extremely worried about Tsuna and group, especially Tsuna. Right after, Tsuna is walking along the sewer and has contact with the Spanner’s Mosca squad. He takes down one of the Mosca and then he gets ganged on by the remaining three. The last scene shows Tsuna being dragged down by one of the Moscas.
Review:
It has been a long time since I watched an episode of this series. I quite like this series, and I think that this episode was quite action-packed. This episode was good since it showed how much Tsuna and friends grew, they have been a lot more mature since they were still in the days ten years ago. I liked how there is an introduction of a new character, Spanner who seems pretty strong and cool because he makes an extremely powerful Mosca squad. Nevertheless, I liked the constant comedy scenes since it lightens up the fighting and serious atmosphere which makes this episode a lot more interesting.

Kemeko Deluxe Episode 5 Review
November 22, 2008 at 7:54 pm | In Anime, Kemeko Deluxe | Leave a CommentTags: ecchi, funny, kemeko, Kemeko Deluxe

Summary:
In this episode, Sanpeita goes out on a date with Kemeko/M.M. The first scene shows, the past of M.M. where she is in space. Then it comes back to Sanpeita’s house, in which Fumiko (Sanpeita’s mother) gives Kemeko/M.M. two movie tickets because she helped Fumiko finish her manga. Thus Kemeko goes on a date with Sanpeita, even though Sanpeita wasn’t willing to go out with her. Kemeko quickly drags Sanpeita to various places, and the first place was the bowling alley. At the bowling alley, she ferociously threw the bowling ball which hit and destroyed almost the entire place. After that, she goes into various different places in which she destroys almost everything she touches. When coming back from the karaoke, Sanpeita decides to stop staying with her and leaves her alone as she walks into a shop. M.M. comes out being all dressed and pretty, since she was angry for the last night since Sanpeita said she always wore the same clothes and smelled really bad. Upon watching the movie with M.M. , she finallys tells Sanpeita her name while Sanpeita thinks of wanting to kiss her. In the middle of his thought, Mishima-made robot suddenly appear in the movie theater and M.M. jumps into Kemeko and beats all of the robots. Finally, the two of them go back and M.M. shows how much she loves Sanpeita.
Review:
I finally got the time to post an anime review after my computer has gotten fixed. I somehow lost all my “feeling” of writing anime reviews so sorry about this one if you think it isn’t really good. Kemeko seemed like a must-watch anime when I first saw it. I liked the comedy and the ecchi. Who would think of an amazingly cute girl in some ugly looking robot suit? That is some good idea, in addition to the fact that the producers of the anime can think up of so many ecchi scenes in this anime. This episode was quite good since M.M. got a lot of air time, M.M. is so attractive that I didn’t get bored watching this episode. Furthermore, I liked the various funny parts of this episode (as most of the episodes have) because Kemeko and M.M. have two completely different personalities. I’m looking forward to the future episodes of this series.

This time the game is about the Prince and his secret female partner Elika. The story is based on an ancient legend, talking about having the prince being inside a war between two gods. In order to save the world from darkness and restore peace the prince decides to go on an adventure with his partner Elika. It is scheduled for December 4th 2008
Review:
I’m still sorry for having not post an anime review, although I guess they would be posted sometime soon ( I hope .) I never really liked this game other than the fact that the graphics are pretty good and the way the enemies were killed are absolutely cool. I hate having to jump around like an acrobatic, therefore I only play the Prince of Persia games for a fews hours than I stop playing it completely. When this game comes out I guess I would just try it, if there is still those hard jumping around things, then I guess I won’t play it for a long time.

Left 4 Dead
November 20, 2008 at 9:10 pm | In Video games | Leave a CommentTags: FPS, left 4 dead, pc, valve, zombie

Summary:
Valve releases Left 4 Dead on November 19th2008. Left 4 Dead was creating by the same group who created the famous Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, using the next generation’s Source engine. In the game, the player would have to try and survive from countless zombies along with three other computer-controlled characters. The game would be separatedinto four parts, each having five stages, when they are put together it seems like a movie, but just with the player being the main actor of the movie. In the twenty levels, there would be two ways to play them, single player and multi-player. Single player would have the three other character being AI, which spent the production group a long time to fix and develop. The AI would be smart. As to the multi-player part, the AI would be taking up the player slots until a player decides to join and co-operate with the host. The first two parts of the campaign would be in the city, while the other two parts would be in the country-side. In the campaign there would be an infinite amount of zombie, thus the players would have to reach a designated point and wait for rescue. In addition, the zombie numbers and zombie spawn locations would be randomized each time it is player, therefore giving more fun to the game. In multi-player mode, there would be a chance for the player to play the zombie and rip the flesh of the survivors.
Review:
This game is a game I bet I would spend hours of playing. FPS games were also one my favourite type of games, in addition this game was made by Valve, one of my favourite FPS game-making group who made me got highly addicted to Counter-Strike. Furthermore, I also love killing zombies because they are sometimes stupid and there is a lot of fun in killing the zombies brutally. I also like it how the game would be including smart AI who wouldn’t be stupid enough to bump into walls or get stuck at corners. This would be a game I would get sometime soon, if some certain requirements are made.

*NOTE* Credit goes to the uploader not me
Summary:
Konami announces that Castlevania Judgment for Wii to be released in the US at November 18th (passed :O). This time the game would be a fighting game similar to those like Street Fighter or Guilty Gear. Looks like the person in charge of the characters in the game would be the person who drew the manga Death Note. There would be known characters from the series, including hidden characters. In addition, there would be stories and unique combos for each character. There would be several game modes to play, furthermore there would be hidden items and a character customization system (similar to Tekken).
Review:
First and foremost, I would like to say sorry for two major things, having my computer fixed super slowly and not posting screenshots of the game (didn’t have any = =). Since there wasn’t screenshots I will post a video link from youtube (video isn’t mine). With that settled, I can continue on, I love playing these fighting games, especially those which don’t get boring fast. As you can see, most games I posted and did summaries plus reviews about are those fighting games. Castlevania is a classic, although I didn’t quite know about this series until several years ago, when I bought the Castlevania game for ps2, which was called Castlevania: Curse of Darkness. I spent several days and hours playing that game (never beated it) until I was stuck and got lazy to find a walkthrough.

Street Fighter 4
November 18, 2008 at 6:26 pm | In Video games | Leave a CommentTags: 2D fighting games, arcade, mugen, ps3, street fighter, street fighter 4, xbox 360

Summary:
Capcom announces the release of Street Fighter 4 for ps3 and xbox 360 to be at 2009 February 7th in the US and 2009 February 20th in Europe. This time, Street Fighter 4 comes with new 3D graphics, which is on a 2D platform, thus making unique-looking characters and moves/attacks. Not only does the game keep the original characters and combos from the older series, it also adds some new characters and combos. It looks like the arcade version of the game has already been released in Japan, I guess that the people living outside of Japan would have to wait a bit.
Review:
The Street Fighter series is way back in the time when I was still a young little boy. I still remember playing the game on Nintendo 64 almost all-day long with my brother. I had completely no idea of how to play the game so I usually just randomly press the buttons hoping to defeat the other player. Now as I grow up, I had several contacts with the series, the most memorable one I can think of is mugen. Mugen is a pretty old system where the player can add characters, stages, music etc. to the game and play it. I remember adding some characters from Street Fighter and killing all the random characters I had. Later on, I decided to stop playing Mugen and I have no intention (as of now) to go back and play it. These type of 2D fighting games always interested me, I have been playing them from my younger years up until now. I just can’t get enough of the cool moves and combos which completely demolishes the opponent. The 3D graphics of this new sequel looks really amazing, just too bad I don’t have either ps3 or xbox 360 (as many of the constant readers may know…) If I were to see this around in the arcade sometime soon (don’t go there often) I guess I would be willing to spend some tokens on it, even though I’m completely no good at playing them.

Vipers Creed
November 17, 2008 at 8:20 pm | In Anime | Leave a CommentTags: animax, Anime, New Anime, vipers creed

Summary:
In order to celebrate Animax’s 10th year anniversary , the company decided to develop their own anime, this anime is temporarily called Vipers Creed. This anime is scheduled to air in Japan during January 6th of 2009. The story of Viper Creed happens during the 21st century, due to the constant environmental pollution happening around the world, there are major outbreaks of disease and starvation around the world. Furthermore, the economy of the world starts to collapse, leading to an outbreak of a world-wide war. After the war, there is a city called Fort Diversity. Having most of the major companies quickly wanted to be located here, there has been some issues with the citizens and the business men, thus leading to many riots and protests. As a result, a group of enforcers are established and they have been called Unit Viper who have the duty to resolve problems among the riots.
Review:
I’m not really sure if I would watch this episode, when it comes out subbed. As of now, I don’t really think there would be some awesome characters or stories, but maybe it is because not much information is released about Vipers Creed as of now. While I was looking at the plot I can actually imagine this happening sometime in the future, but I don’t think it would be a possibility until maybe the late 21st century. I might or might not give this anime a try, depends on how well my time is scheduled during that time. Judging from the pictures, it looks like a “serious” anime full of action and drama (my guess.)
