Chaos;Head Episode 9 Review

Summary:

It starts off with Yua going to see detective Ban since she believes that the person responsible for the New Gene cases is Takumi, in addition to the fact that her twin sister was a victim of the First New Gene incident. In the middle of Yua and Ban’s conversation, Suwa calls Ban in order to tell him that the Sixth New Gene incident has just happened, from the scene we see a scary/evil look on Suwa’s face maybe telling us that is he somehow related to New Gene. Takumi also receives the information about the Sixth New Gene incident and he starts looking up an essay he wrote before about “Those eyes whose eyes are they?”. Behind the essay, he finds that there are some scribbles along with the formula. Back to the conversation with Yua and Dan, Yua tells him that he saw Ayase pull out a sword from out of nothing. The following day, Takumi, his friend, and Rimi decide to go to the hospital in order to check on Ayase. Rimi was lost, therefore Takumi and his friend split off to find her. Takumi reaches a floor with its walls and rooms completely white. Seeing this, he walks around on that floor until he reaches this dark place, which scares him and makes him run away. While he is running, we see a nurse repeatably saying something weird while looking at the computer. Sena and Kozupii was at Takumi’s house and Sena finds out that Takumi supposedly invented the formula. Back at the hospital, Takumi meets up with his friend only to see that Rimi was slapped by Ayase. Ayase comes back into her ward and spills out a bunch of information making Takumi’s friend lost interest in her. Takumi’s friend leaves and Ayase tells him some information on finding the Di-Sword, and a little bit about her past. Upon returning to his house, Takumi was attacked by Sena , in which Rimi shows that she is a Gigalomaniax also and protects Takumi, furthermore Rimi seems to know about everything that has been going on. Later we see the Nozomi group again, talking about the formula is the core to Noah II, in addition to that there will be another earthquake (at a larger scale) produced by Noah II afterwards. Back at Takumi’s house, he discovers that the discovery of the formula branched the world (don’t understand). After this, Takumi decides to go back to his home, along with Rimi. When he gets there, he quickly rushes to where he thinks his home is, only to find that it isn’t there. At the end of this episode, we see Shogun go into a room, while the room is labeled Nishijo Takumi (scary…)

Review:

Another great episode to watch, more questions solved, and more people with Di-Swords. Nevertheless, I also like how we see that some people are putting up acts, while they are really something else (that is more scary). To make a long story short, this episode was good and the future episodes will also be this way too. I’m expecting much more questions solved in the future episodes, and I can’t wait for the next episode!

Summary:

First we see the police/detective Ban looking at some videos of Sena,  which made him shocked due to having seeing her Di-Sword. Later, Takumi is at school waiting for Rimi to return, while she doesn’t. Later Kozupii calls Taku go to outside and prepare for the battle with Sena to destroy Noah II, he quickly refuses and makes Kozupii cry, thus the people in the classroom starting spreading rumors, therefore he took Kozupii outside. Outside, Sena is waiting and Taku didn’t want to go at first, but he decides to go in because he wants to learn more about what has been happening around him. They enter the company being disguised as executives, by creating delusions and sending them into the surround people’s blind spots. Later, Rimi is supposedly talking to Shogun, in which Rimi talks about how Shogun is going to die soon. Taku and group finally reaches Noah II, although the company’s president Norose appears to stop them. During the fierce battle, Taku was somehow able to look inside of Sena’s past only to realize that her real name is Hatano Sena and not Aoi Sena, in addition he sees that the company’s experiments caused the death of both Sena’s mother and younger sister. Just about when Sena and Kozupii was about to lose, Ayayse came over and helped them by turning Norose into ice, in which she collapsed afterwards. Norose later broke the ice and created delusions and made Sena and Kozupii fight eachother due to having both of them thinking that they are fighting with him. Just when Takumi was about to get killed, he  unknowingly cancelled the particles inside both of the girls blind spots, which lead to a victory. When Noah II was destroyed the group finds out that it was a Noah II Prototype and the Norose they were fighting with was a delusion made from the Prototype. Next day, Takumi is extremely happy to see Rimi back at school. At the end of the episode, we see Norose talking to a Di-Sword (what?!?!?!)

Review:

This episode was darn good, instead of those confusing concepts this episode was mainly about fighting. In addition, I also like the dramatic change of Takumi’s personality since he started out more of a coward, and now he is starting to muster up some courage.  Four more episodes to go, and I really hope that somehow there will be a second season (probably not…) anyways I’m looking forward how all of this confusing stuff will end.

Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn! Episode 107 Review

Summary:

First off we see Reborn and group back at their base trying to establish a connection with Tsuna, which they have been trying from the start. The connection signal isn’t very strong so therefore they cannot exactly tell what exactly is happening. While Tsuna is being dragged down into the water, he uses Zero Point Breakthrough and freezes up all the Moscas thus escapes. Spanner is shocked by the power, but he stills fight back by commanding his Moscas to break the ice (with dying will flames) and attack Tsuna. Tsuna was expecting this so therefore, he used Zero Point Breakthrough Revised and absorbed all the power from the Moscas. More Moscas come, including the King Mosca which Spanner is residing. The King Mosca powers up, by using something similar to Zero Point Breakthrough Revised, and turns a lot stronger. Tsuna gets beaten up pretty bad, and when he hears the sound of Reborn talking to him, he uses X Burner in mid-air and destroys the King Mosca. Surprised, Spanner comes out of the King Mosca and takes a pistol, supposedly going to shoot the tired Tsuna, thus leading to the end of this episode.

Review:

This episode was mainly about Tsuna fighting the Mosca. In addition, this episode shows the good relationship between Tsuna and Reborn, since as soon as Tsuna heard Reborn talking to him, he easily won against King Mosca and Spanner. All in all, this episode was just normal, nothing too good about it, or nothing too bad. I’m looking forward to the future episodes, since they seem to be all action-packed.

Chaos;Head Episode 7 Review

Summary:

The huge earthquake caused a lot of deathe in addition to making Taku pass out for around a hour. Being scared, Taku wanted to find Rimi and decides to go to school to find her. Ayase jumps off the school roofs thinking that all the suffering of hers will disappear, when she jumps down Taku is able to make a “delusional” garden out of nothing to save Ayase. As a result, people around the school believe that Taku played around with her relationship. After we see this group of people from the comapny Nozomi talking about their new invention. Sena meets up with Taku and asks him if he is related with this person, which Taku denys, but we can guess that Rimi is related to that person since she looks like she is waiting for that “mysterious” person. Upon going back to school, Taku is laughed at by other people thus Kozupii talks to him leaving Taku scared because she uses telepathic abilites. Taku leaves school and is beaten up by people who were paid to do so. He falls down and seems to nearly reach his Di-Sword. After a while, Kozupii saves Taku, and tells Taku that she has a Di-Sword also. Unexpectingly, they meet up with Sena, and it looks like Kozupii and Sena are friends. Now we see The Nozomi group in meeting, where this person says that he has developed a machine called Noah II to use the powers of Gigalomaniacs to supposedly brainwash people with delusions. We also see that the Nozomi group has people carrying devices in their backpacks since they are mobile transmitters for Noah II. Next, Takumi learns that himself, Sena and Kozupii are all Gigalomaniacs with the power to transform delusions into reality. The Nozomi group decides to test the power of Noah II and makes a delusion of a run-away digger going on a rampage, seeing this Sena and Kozupii both rush on to destroy the trasmitters. Near the end of the episode, Taku, Sena and Kozupii form a group to stop Nozomi’s evil plans and decide to take a picture to commerate the forming of their group.

Review:

This episode was great, many “wow” factors, really clears up all the questions I wanted to ask. I also like how there is finally an explanation to how people like Taku (Gigalomaniacs) are able to turn delusions in reality. Furthermore, I like the introduction of the Nozomi group since it sets a clear enemy for the characters, since up until now their wasn’t an “evil” group like most animes have. Looks like the remaining episodes of this anime will be interesting to watch.

Rosario To Vampire Capu 2 Episode 8 Review

Summary:

The episode starts off being a usual school day, with Ruby-san outside the school entrance sweeping the floor. Tsukune comes and is followed by Moka and others. Seeing the stupid fight over Tsukune, and the underwear that all the girls expose Ruby decides to make sure that everyone has to wear long skirts. After this we see many ecchi-filled and funny random short stories, which made this episode mostly filler. Some short stories were just down-right weird, while some of them were pretty funny and interesting to watch (mainly ecchi I guess…) Near the end of this episode, we see the new act being enforced onto all of the people at Youkai academy, and everyone has to wear long skirts. Another ecchi-scene occurs and the episode starts the ending song. When the ending song is finished, it is revealed that Youkai academy has a Great Barrier that stops the Youkai (monster) world and the Human world from merging into one, which is also the main reason Ruby is at the school.

Review:

This episode wasn’t as good as I thought, since you could say that this episode was basically a “filler” episode adding on to the fact that season two will be ending in five more episodes (thirteen episodes scheduled for season two) The only good part about the fillers were the comedy and the ecchi, which made some of the short stories quite amusing to watch. The surprising part about this episode, is that in the end we realize how important the Great Barrier is, in addition to the fact that Ruby is protecting and the barrier will eventually collapse (just my guess.) I think that this episode will be the only filler episode and the future episodes will continue to follow the plot.

Chaos;Head Episode 6 Review

Summary:

The start of this episode shows Taku thinking about his past and what has happened to him recently (which is basically a recap). At school, Taku thinking about how reality can be created from delusions but is interrupted by Yuu, therefore he runs outside shouting and into  the school’s courtyard. In the courtyard, Rimi finds Taku and tells his that she would be with him and protecting him. Taku and Rimi leave school together and wander inside a cafe, outside Taku sees people demonstrating about the New Gene incident and freaks out. When reaching home, Taku researches about how electronic devices can be able to spy on people’s thoughts. In Taku’s house, he starts having delusions about Rimi, also revealing he might start to like “three-dimensional” girls. Now we see Seira’s figurine seeming to make a sad, frowning expression. Taku enters his usual chat room while Rimi is out to buy drinks, and finds out that another New Gene incident has occurred thus making a doctor he knew die. Taku freaks out (again) and is later comforted by Rimi. Later we see Sena showing her Di-Sword in public and destroying this backpack with a machine inside of it. Next we see Ban-san coming inside this detective agency and learning more stuff about the New Gene case. Near the end of this episode, Taku receives a call which later produces weird sound-waves that affected everyone in the whole of Shibuya. It looks like something is beginning…

Review:

As always, still confusing but fun and interesting to watch. Slight ecchi, which took off the serious-ness of this episode and made it so the mood of the episode will be more varied. This episode is also good since Taku starts to become less “otaku” (at least I think so) because he starts getting interested in “three-dimensional” girls and that we don’t see him playing games as much. The surprising part of this episode was the end, I was shocked to see how a cell-phone emits sound-waves so large it can affect the whole city. In conclusion, this episode was great, halfway in the scheduled twelve episodes so I think that the plot will be moving quite fast in the future episodes.

Xam’d Lost Memories Episode 14 Review

Tags: , , , ,

Summary:

It starts off, with Furuichi thinking about the past relationship between the three of them. Furuichi transforms into a Xam’d, which is surprisingly ugly, and doesn’t listen to Nakiami because he doesn’t want to make a promise with her, like Akiyuki did. As a result, Akiyuki and Furuichi fight each-other leaving Haru extremely worried. Throughout the battle, Furuichi keeps evolving into a scarier and uglier Xam’d who is obviously defeated later by Akiyuki’s full Xam’d transformation. Furuichi somehow sucks Haru into his body, making Akiyuki angry. Nakiami later blows up Furuichi’s Xam’d form making him turn back into a human, and making Haru come out of his body. Just when things seemed to be going well, the army comes out and captures Akiyuki and Furuichi. Nakiami runs away to safety, while Akiyuki takes the commander as hostage and runs away with him. The commander tries to negotiate with Akiyuki, but Akiyuki quickly realizes that he is being lured into a trap and escapes. Not soon, Akiyuki gets shot by the military and falls into the river. Furuichi somehow escapes from the military, and later suicides because he didn’t believe that he was meant to be alive. Near the end of the episode, Akiyuki is shown to be rescued by some person, and is put onto a train, which also reveals that he lost his memory in addition to having the Xam’d mask permanently stuck to his face.

Review:

This episode was great, nice amount of fighting and also a good amount of plot development. There was also a sufficient amount of sadness, which kept the story/plot interesting. I also like the unexpected ending, because I didn’t think that Akiyuki and Nakiami will be seperated from each-other, which made the story turn out to be more interesting. I wonder how will the plot develop, I cannot wait to watch the next episode!

Important Note:

I will be going with my family onto a family vacation since it is winter break/vacation. I will be out for around four or five days (time zone differences). During this time, I believe that bakarang3r will be contining to post. Happy Early Christmas everyone! My last post in a while…

Kemeko Deluxe Episode 6 Review

Tags: , , ,

Summary:

Sanpeita is attending his last day of school before his summer break, everyone at school is excited since summer vacation is coming. Back at home, Fumiko is extremely excited upon summer’s arrival that she is wearing a bikini in the house. Unluckily, Aoi-Chan (Fumiko’s assistant) announce that summer vacation will be planned to work on drawing manga, so therefore the Kobayashi family is unable to go on a family summer vacation. Izumi and Misaki decide to go on a summer vacation with everyone, in which they would be stayin at one of Misaki’s summer houses. Suddenly, Kemeko appears dressed up as a ninja and jumps down from the sky, and somehow “invites” herself into the trip and decides to plan it. Izumi and Kemeko fight over Sanpeita again, which leads to having Sanpeita angrily run away to home. When Sanpeita gets home, he realizes that there are some guests waiting for him at home. It looks like that the people from Mishima have went and talked with Sanpeita luring them into his trap. The head director, Vanilla M. Repairs has a similar suit/robot to that of Kemeko. Vanilla tells Sanpeita to meet up with her ten days later, so that she will explain everything to him. In addition she says that M.M. is a traitor of Mishima. Kemeko gets home and realizes that Sanpeita has been with another girl, Kemeko gets angry and hits him. The end of the episode is where Vanilla is on the roof-top and it seems that she needs Sanpeita in part of her plan.

Review:

This episode was great, an introduction of two new characters, one being a cool guy, and another being another hot girl. Ecchi will still around in this episode, although there wasn’t very much of it. Other than that, the funny scenes in this episode was also pretty good, I was laughing almost throughout the whole episode. I also like the build-up of suspense, since it quite hard to tell who is the “real” bad people, Kemeko or the people from Mishima (I personally think that it is Mishima)

Summary:

Jun’ichi and group are on the bus heading to Ayanokouji’s luxurious hotel, since she wants to impress everyone in addition making up for the messed-up boat trip few episodes ago. The group reach the luxurious hotel up somewhere in the mountains, while they immediately realize to how perfect this hotel is. All the girls go change into Yukuta, and head to Jun’ichi’s room after they changed. Always being unable to deal with beautiful/cute girls, Jun’ichi stares at his own sister, thus making some funny scenes while he is mocked by others. After, Ayanokouji says that she has something special to show to everyone, as a result she brings everyone to a secret open-air hot spring. After walking an extremely long time, the group finally reach the hot spring. Upon getting there, Ayanokouji announces that this hot spring is a mixed hot spring thus making Jun’ichi extremely irritated. During this time, they hear a bear sound which makes Minato want to check it out. Minato rushes into where the bear is and disappears. Jun’ichi gets worried (only after 10 seconds) and runs to look for her. Not long, he sees Minato and the bears both in the hot springs together. Later, both sexes separated and go inside the hot-spring, they do this by separated each-0ther between a boulder. The girls tease Jun’ichi which later makes Jun’ichi very excited. When Jun’ichi reaches the limit, he quickly climbs up the boulder and jump down to the other side, thus seeing nothing since the girls have already left. Yuuhi tells Ayankouji about how fun this vacation is, which leads to the end of this episode.

Review:

This episode was good, mainly since Jun’ichi does stupid things which lead to many different funny moments. Furthermore, the unexpected ending really was excellent, since I thought that this trip wouldn’t go very smoothly but in fact it did. There was a suffiecient amount of ecchi, which also made this episode better to watch. Anyways, I’ll be looking forward to the next episode, since the preview seemed good (full of ecchi-ness!)

Bleach Episode 196 Review

Summary:

Kenpachi easily kills Telsa and saves Ichigo in one fast cut. Later, Kenpachi explains to Ichigo and Inoue to the reason why he has come to save them, while fighting with Nnoitra. Then, Byakuya goes over to save Rukia from being finished off by Zommari. The next scene shows that Kenpachi, Byakuya, Restu, and Kurotsuchi have came to help Ichigo and group out. After, it shows Byakuya and Zommari fight in addition to showing Kenpachi and Nnoitra fight also. This episode ends where Byakuya is going to get serious when he’s fighting Zommari.

Review:

I couldn’t really say anything for this episode since most of it was filled with battle scenes. Overall, this episode wasn’t as good as I thought it was, but it wasn’t some boring “talking” episode either. I just hope that the next episode would be a lot better than this one.

Bleach Episode 195 Review

Summary:

It starts off having Nel releasing her sword, thus she changes into this other form. She quickly injures Nnoitra and slams him against a wall. The scene suddenly changes back to where Szayel is, and shows Pesche taking out his sword, which slashes Szayel. Pesche and Dondonchakka perform this synchronized cero together and fires it at the unprepared Szayel. Now it shows Nel trying to finish Nnoitra off, suddenly she reverts back into her child-form and is unable to fight.  As a result, Ichigo has no hope of winning therefore he gets beated around by one of Nnoitra’s fraccion. Nnoitra decides to let Inoue suffer by holding onto her and forcing her to watch the scene of Ichigo getting beaten. After, it shows a big explosion caused from Pesche and Dondonchakka’s ultimate attack. In the midst of smoke, Szayel seems to be still alive and standing. Pesche and Dondonchakka immediately get confused and asks Szayel to how he dodged the attack. Szayel replies saying that he was analyzing the two just when the battle started (when they were still in Szayel’s base), therefore Szayel knows how to defend the attacks from the two. Now we see Rukia (who I almost forgot) and Chad (almost forgot him too) about to be extracted by the Arrancar forces. The last scene shows, the nearly dead Ichigo get saved by Kenpachi.

Review:

This episode was amazing, I was like shocked every few minutes. The unexpected twist in the plot, of having Nel transform back was really good, since no-one ever saw that coming. In addition, I liked how Pesche and Dondonchakka finally showing their true power, although there was a unexpected twist in the outcome for that also. Disappointingly, I personally thought that some parts of this episode started to get repetitive since all we see is Ichigo get constantly owned which is super boring to watch. Other than that, this episode was truly great can’t wait to watch the next one (thanks to cliffhangers), watch out for a triple bleach review!

Bleach Episode 194 Review

Summary:

This episode starts off with having the battle with Szayel, then it quickly changes back into the battle between Nel and Nnoitra. After that, is shows some parts of Nel’s past, mainly dealing upon the issue with Nel and Nnoitra. From the past part, it is easy to say that Nel always won against Nnoitra, and never finished him off, because of this, Nnoitra always hated her and wanted to surpass her. It jumps back to the present fighting scene between Nel and Nnoitra, then jumps back to the past again. Nnoitra attacked Nel’s subordinates which makes Nel angry, in the fearsome battle, Nnoitra asked Szayel for help so that he can create an opening to attack Nel. Nel gets her mask cut and is later thrown out into the desert outside Las Noches. When she is thrown down along with Pesche and Dondonchakka, it is shown having Nel transform into a child form since she lost her reiatsu, in addition to losing her memory. Seeing this, Pesche and Dondonchakka believe that it is their duty to protect her and not let the child-Nel know about her past. Near the end of this episode, Szayel easily damages Renji making his unable to get hurt. Suddenly, Pesche and Dondonchakka help out and destroy the voodoo-dolls, thus showing that they have the ability to combat and fight. The scene reverts back to the battle between Nel and Nnoitra and it finishes off with Nel releasing her sword.

Review:

Yay! Exams are finally over, which means I can post anime reviews again, well anyways enough of the crap here’s the review. This episode was pretty good. It covered up the past of Nel, which I really liked in addition to how the fact she turned into a child. Not much to say other than the fact that this episode was downright good, due to the fact that this episode is dedicated to Nel. I also liked how the two characters, Pesche and Dondonchakka reveal to the viewers the fact that they can actually battle and do something cool other than just making stupid joke and doing stupid things. Nevertheless, I’m looking forward to the next episode, since we will see what Nel looks like upon releasing her sword.
