The game was developed in 1995 as was released onto those big arcade machines, players can select their own machine/robot and battle others in various different locations. By using Xbox live, there can be ranking battles in addition to customizing one’s own machine.
Review:
Ok, I have to be honest here and say that I was really confused on what should I post today. After seeing the drastic view change, after bakarang3r’s music posts (with download links) I was really confused and scared at the same time. Since I’m not really in a good mood today, I just posted something simple, and random. Anyways, I have played this game a few times in the arcade back when I was young and maybe I could say this is what developed me turning into a gundam/mecha-fan. Gomenasai~ for such a random post…

Koihime Musou

*NOTE* sorry for not having any videos or picture…gomenasai~
Summary:
BaseSon announces that Koihime Musou which was originally a game will be made into an anime series again. Koihime Musou is set in the ancient three kingdoms period in China, where all the major characters in the history are changed into female. The previous anime had only twelve episode and it looks like this time the story will be more relevant to the actual game. The anime will be airing sometime on Autumn of this year.
Review:
I watched the previous Koihimie Musou, and it really made me go confused but I think that it was quite a good watch. I’ll be looking forward to the re-done series since I think that the game’s story is a lot more interesting than just having a crappy story set on Kanou’s journey. When this comes out, I’ll be reviewing it on this blog look forward till then!

Summary:
Capcom announced on February twenty-third on xbox live, a sequel to Lost Planet, which is obviously Lost Planet 2. This game will be powered on Capcom’s enhanced MT-Framework 2.0 game engine, therefore the game’s graphic will be improved. The game will still be a third-person shooter and there has been improvements on the multiplayer system, a group of players can play against a giant monster named Akrid.
Review:
I have never played Lost Planet 2, maybe because I don’t own a xbox 360. I would want to play this, since the game seems cool and it is third person shooting. I’m quite a fan of shooting games…ok maybe almost every game. For those wanting more information on the game, please just watch the video above. Just a note to those wondering, I can only post anime reviews during holidays or weekends, other than those days I can only post other types of things. Anyways, if anyone is interested in helping out I’ll be extremely happy, no matter if it is drawing banners, making artwork, or writing reviews I will gladly appreciate it.

To Aru Majutsu no Index Episode 14 Review
February 23, 2009 at 3:59 pm | In Anime, To Aru Majutsu No Index | Leave a CommentTags: Anime, magic, To Aru Majutsu No Index, index, dragon ball z, red alert, Imagine Breaker, Mikoto, Misaka, vector, Accelerator, Toma, science, dispell, research facilities, Spirit Bomb

Summary:
Having somehow surviving the dust explosion set off by Accelerator, Toma starts beating up Accelerator badly with his Imagine Breaker (right hand). Since Accelerator’s powers are dispelled by Toma’s right hand Toma easily wins against him. Accelerator later think of forming a plasma, by compressing all the air together in one spot, but later Mikoto comes over and saves him. Mikoto calls all her clones (Misaka) to use their electricity powers in order to turn the wind turbines located around the city, since the wind are blowing randomly Accelerator is unable to gather and compress the wind in one spot. Accelerator gets angry and launches forward to Toma, but since he isn’t smart enough to realize Toma’s power, Toma easily knocks him out. When Toma wakes up, he is in the hospital with Misaka telling him that the experiment is going to stop in addition to the fact that they will be going back to the research facilities for some modification. Next morning, Mikoto comes over with a box of cookies as a gift to thanks Toma for stopping the experiment, later on Index comes over and bites Toma as usual.
Review:
This episode was funny in some places, one part is how stupid Accelerator was since he still hasn’t realized that his powers won’t work on him if he is touched by Toma’s Imagine Breaker. Another thing, is when Accelerator starts compressing the wind the ball looks like Goku’s Spirit Bomb from DragonBallZ (just random, but haven’t almost all the attacks/skills/abilities in this series seem to be blue colored?…). Furthermore, when the Misaka clones were powering up the wind turbines it made me think of the Telsa Coils in the Red Alert series, since they are able to be powered up in order to shoot faster. In conclusion, this anime was extremely funny since it brought so much connection to other stuff that I know. For those waiting for the last episode/series summary for Chaos;Head and Kemeko Deluxe…I guess I’ll have to wait until I get this long vacation/break and I stay at home.

Overlord 2
February 23, 2009 at 9:11 am | In Video games | Leave a CommentTags: computer, darkness, minions, monsters, Overlord, Overlord II, pc, ps, ps3, wizard, xbox, xbox 360

Summary:
Overlord 2 is a sequel of Overlord, and the story depicts a strong dark wizard that stumble into a dark castle and meets little minions that are fascinated by the wizard’s power which makes them decide to follow him. The player’s minions are the best tool in the game, since they will be responsible for pillaging villages, and searching for unique and strong items. There will be a multiple range of minions each with different appearances and skills. Although in Overlord 2, the wizard will be in Ancient Rome instead of a dark castle. This game will be released for pc, ps3, and xbox 360 sometime during June.
Review:
This game looks good, and since it is on pc I’m pretty sure that I will try out this game. I have never played Overlord, but I think it is worth a try. Commanding a bunch of minions raiding a village or gangbanging some stupid wanna-be boss will be definitely fun. In addition, I think that the monster looks pretty cool and that appeals this game to me. To conclude, I will get this game during June since it will be the start of my summer vacation.

To Aru Majutsu no Index Episode 13 Review
February 22, 2009 at 9:15 am | In Anime, To Aru Majutsu No Index | Leave a CommentTags: magic, To Aru Majutsu No Index, index, physic, Mikoto, Misaka, vector, Accelerator, Toma, Komoe, science, level 0, level 5, Harem, Aisa

Summary:
Misaka arrives at this train station place, and keeping thinking about Toma in her mind, which confuses her. At the same time, Komoe Index and Aisa at are a Japanese bath house, where Komoe starts explaining the ability and development of physics in more detail. After Toma regains his consciousness he sees the Mikoto is crying on top of him, where he decides that if he (a level zero) defeats the strongest level five (Accelerator), so that the scientists will think the Accelerator is illegible for the experiment. Mikoto tries convincing Toma not to go to Accelerator, although she still tells him Accelerator’s location. Accelerator and Misaka start fighting, and Misaka easily gets defeated although Toma suddenly appears in time to rescue her. Accelerator is impressed by the courage that Toma has, and overpowers Toma. Accelerator gets shocked when he sees that Toma’s right hand cancels out his ability. Accelerator later releases a lot of flour, in which he triggers a dust explosion.
Review:
This episode was great, the talking parts were kept short and simple and the action was good. I liked seeing the shocked expression on Accelerator after he is touched by Toma’s right hand, it was really funny. It seems pretty obvious that Mikoto has seem to take a liking to Toma, looks like Toma has a harem life…(jealous >.>) All in all, this episode was good and I guess that the episode will start to get better and better after this one.

To Aru Majutsu no Index Episode 12 Review
February 21, 2009 at 3:48 pm | In Anime, To Aru Majutsu No Index | Leave a CommentTags: cat, clones, electricity, Espers, index, Komoe, magic, Mikoto, physic, Schrodinger, sisters, To Aru Majutsu No Index, Toma

Summary:
It starts off with Komoe explaining to Index the Schrodinger theory with a chocolate box, which she later uses to describe esper/physic abilities. Mikoto later remember in that in the past, the doctors told her that her power of electricity will save many lives of the crippled and nearly dead, only to learn that later on the doctors used her power and created clones (sisters). Mikoto is also shocked by that fact that her clones are used to fight against Accelerator hoping to evolve him into a level six. Toma seems to know the details of the experiment and confronts Mikoto. Mikoto then says that if she gave up her life, then all the remaining ten thousand clones of her will live. Toma is completely against the idea and tries to stop her. Mikoto gets angry and attacks Toma several times. After standing up from the multiple shocks, Mikoto is moved and start crying. Toma later starts thinking of a way to stop the experiment.
Review:
This episode was good, one reason being I haven’t watched anime in a long time. The only thing I disliked about this episode was the constant talking between Mikoto and Toma, I though that I could have been cut a little shorter. Seeing this, it makes me afraid of what will happen in the future, when technology evolve to such a rate. Nevertheless, this episode was quite good to watch, and there will be many more reviews to come after this.

Halo Wars
February 20, 2009 at 5:58 pm | In Video games | Leave a CommentTags: demo, February, halo, halo wars, real time strategy, rts, strategy, xbox, xbox 360, you tube
*NOTE* Videos not uploaded by me, credit goes to the original uploader
Summary:
There will be a new game Halo Wars, release on Xbox 360 on February twenty-sixth. Different from all the previous games in the series, this game will be a real-time strategy. The demo of this game was relesae on February fifth, and after five days it has been downloaded over two million times, making the highest record of demo games download from Xbox Live in a day. The demo only features two chapters/missions. Just watch the videod above for more information.
Review:
I wasn’t really a fan of halo (don’t throw stuff at the computer) but I couldn’t say that the halo series is bad. I think that it is ok, and I can tell why so many people are extreme fans of halo. Anyways I quite like real-time strategy games, but unfortunately I don’t own a xbox 360. Too bad for me, cause I won’t have a chance of playing this game.

Dungeon & Fighter
February 19, 2009 at 5:07 pm | In Anime | Leave a CommentTags: Anime, curse, devil, devil may cry, dungeon, dungeon & fighter, Guilty Gear, Korea, MMORPG, Neo, online game, Sol Badguy

Summary:
Being a pretty popular game in Korea, Dugeon & Fighter will be having an anime adaptation. The anime story is based on the year 981 in Arad time, and the main character is a cursed swordsman with a devil hand (Neo from Devil May Cry?!?!). Since everyone is scared of his curse he is disliked by many people, in order to lift the curse the swordsman decides to go on a journey. The anime adaptation will be handled by Gonzo, and GK Entertainment. There isn’t any info as of now, when this anime will start airing.
Review:
This anime seems ok, makes me think of Devil May Cry though since the main character has a devil hand. Anyways, I might be watching this anime since I looks ok but the quality of this anime doesn’t seem super good but I guess that it is still worth a try. The main character also makes me think of Sol Badguy from the Guilty Gear series, sort of looks like him especially the hair and clothes and even the sword. Hope to be reviewing this anime one it comes out.
