Summary:

When Hibari opens his box, his box weapons seems to be drunk with the flames. Hibari tries to touch it and the hedgehog’s spike accidentally stabbed Hibari and it caused it to have a mental breakdown and went on a rampage. The hedgehogs multiply and damage the room and its surroundings. Hibari’s subordinate tells him to run away from Genkishi since he knows that Hibari will lose to him, and by taking all the unconscious bodies, both of them enter a room and the walls start closing in. Tsuna knows where the group are and tries to get to them along with Spanner, who is tied onto a rope with a parachute. Tsuna rushes to the lab, and finds carnivorous plants and defeats them quickly to advance.

Review:

This episode was overall fine, nothing much happened in addition I extremely hated the cliffhanger that was left when the walls were closing in, it really makes me want to watch the next episode. Anyways, the difference between Hibari from the future and Hibari from the past was great, Hibari from the past doesn’t seem as mature compared to the future one, and the future selfs of the Vongola members all show a sense of maturity and difference. I’m quite looking forward to how Tsuna will fight against Genkishi and what else does Genkishi has up his sleeve.

Summary:

By having three blocks and the surrounding areas damaged, Irie is shocked by the devastating power that Tsuna has. In the ruins, Iris and Ginger Bread both have been defeated. When Hibari seems to be losing, the group comes over to protects him from Genkishi’s attacks. Meanwhile Tsuna talks to Irie telling him how he will find him and tell him about the white round-shaped machine. Irie is shocked since he wonders how can Tsuna know about the relationship between him and the machine at his lab. Hibari’s subordinate calls him to emit flames from his rings, and it seems that Dino had told Hibari in the past how to use the ring to emit flames. Somehow Hibari’s ring is able to emit huge flames and then he uses it on the hedgehog box.

Review:

This episode was fine, and it was quite a surprise to see how Hibari is able to emit flames from his ring. Even still, I’m wondering what will happen to an over-powered box, will it go on an rampage (which is also the title of the next episode). With most of the Vongola members down, I’m thinking of how can they continue to fight the Millefiore without any new reinforcements.

Summary:

In the battle among Tsuan, Iris and Ginger Bread, Ginger Bread keeps on targeting Spanner. Spanner while using an engineer’s determinations runs around trying to complete the contacts. Tsuna easily puts the finished contacts on and remembers back to when Spanner told him how to use it. Irie sees the battle from the camera and calls Iris and Ginger Bread to move out, although Iris doesn’t believe in the power of the X Burner and fights it head on. Meanwhile Hibari is still unable to get a direct hit on Genkishi and he is unaware of being set into the future, and Chrome and group is able to find Ryohei. When Tsuna uses his X Burner at maximum power three blocks has been wiped out.

Review:

This episode was quite interesting, I didn’t expect the contacts to be finished so soon. I really liked how Tsuna improves throughout the series, I mean I still used to remember the first few episodes of Tsuna running around in his boxers, he hardly could fight at all and look at him now.  There is one thing that have been bothering me, how come Vongola is still so small even after ten years in the future, shouldn’t Vongola have more stronger people, such as new characters? Or maybe have all the Vongola been wiped out and there is hardly anybody left. The next episode seems to be quite good as it will be focusing on the past Hibari.

Summary:

When the past Hibari comes back, Genkishi is shocked by the fact that the Vongola somehow managed to bring the Vongola rings back, although Genkishi seems to be able to easily defeat the ten years past Hibari. Irie is also shocked by this, and it makes him more determined to catch all of the Vongola rings that are present in the base. Tsuna continues to battle Iris’s death stalk squad, and when Spanner is about to be attacked, his mini-Mosca comes out to save him, making Spanner seem really sad. In the midst of the battle, Tsuna was able to invent a new move to used it against his opponent, although the opponent later recovered from it. At the end of the episode Gingerbread appears and now it seems harder for Tsuna to win.

Review:

This episode was quite good, Tsuna’s ability greatly exceed my expectations, I never thought that he was such a strong person. I really like how Tsuna is able to think of new moves right on the spot, and can improvise moves while fighting his opponent. The part where mini-Mosca was shooting cooking objects was quite funny, as the mini-Mosca wasn’t equipped with combat abilities. Well, with not much left for me to say, I’m going to watch the next episode.

Summary:

With a new opening and ending this episode seems to bring up a “fresh” look. Anyways, Hibari uses up the last of his rings to fight with Genkishi in an enclosed space of his own. Without the use of box weapons, and having oxygen slowly running out, both of them have to fight using their martial art skills. Iris’s death squad attacks Tsuna, although Tsuna is able to knock down two out of four of the death stalk squad even when Spanner said that they are stronger than King Moscas. Hibari gets his weapon cut up, and Genkishi wants to finish him off, because Hibari keeps smiling although he seems to be losing. When Genkishi gives the final blow, the Hibari from the past seems to have come to the future.

Review:

This episode was quite good, Hibari sort of made me think of Kenpachi from the Bleach series, as when he was cut from Genkishi he didn’t have any reaction at all. Although the past Hibari has come into the future, I’m wondering how would he fight on an equal foot with Genkishi since he doesn’t know about the boxes, and the fighting style of this era I’m really looking forward to how Hibari will fight with Genkishi and possibly defeat him.

Summary:

Hibari meets up with Genkishi just before Genkishi was about to finish out Gokudera. Hibari is able to keep up with Genkishi and see through all his illusions while saying that he hates illusionists the most. Iris’s death squad finds Tsuna and Spanner, and Spanner tells Tsuna how strong her squad is, after that Iris gives them a power up using her whip (*cough* disgusting…) Chrome uses her illusion powers to fend of the Millefiore trying to get inside the practice room, she takes them out with the help of Lambo, I-pin and Hibari’s subordinate. This confused Irie who was watching from the monitor. Genkishi finds out how Hibari is able to detect him, and Hibari is only left with two rings left (he uses rings as disposable items).

Review:

This episode was quite good, the Vongola don’t seem that weak. One thing that is bothering me is how can Irie stand that for so long, I mean isn’t he tired? Well, Hibari’s skill was greatly shocking, he seemed to easily fight against Genkishi without any effort. Chrome’s illusions were also quite great, but I’m guessing that I-pin and Lambo will serve a greater purpose, cause Kyoko and Haru are still both worrying about him back at the Vongola hideout. Anyways, I’m looking forward to how the new battles with occur and what would the Vongola members do to fend off the Millefiore and get back to the past.

Summary:

Gokudera and Gamma both release their final attack to each-other and blows up the whole training grounds. Irie sees that the cameras there are destroyed, and orders his squad to attack them and retrieve the rings. Meanwhile back at the Vongola base, I-pin and Lambo’s stuff are unable to be found. Chrome infiltrates the base, and takes out the squad along with one of Hibari’s subordinates, in addition I-pin and Lambo are also taken to the scene. When Tsuna asks Spanner about the circle-shaped white machine, Spanner says that is it a time machine and this makes Tsuna want to force Irie to tell them how to go back. Iris finally finds where Spanner is hiding, and without the contacts being complete Tsuna has to fight against her and her squad. When Chrome and Hibari’s subordinates gets into the room, they are amazed by the destroyed state that it is in. Genkishi is about to deliver his final blow but Hibari comes out and saves him while trying to find the white rounded machine.

Review:

This episode was great, many new intruders came into the Millefiore base, just when the Vongola seemed to be losing. More battles seems to be going to occur in the future episodes and this really excites me. Although I’m still wondering how Lambo will be able to fight against people in his baby form, in addition if he uses the ten year bazooka would the twenty-years later self come out of will it just be the ten-years self. I really am looking forward to the future episode and what will happen to the Vongola members.

Summary:

After noticing that Genkishi’s attack was a fake, Yamamoto stuns him using on of a modified Squalo’s moves. With that, Genkishi decides to retreat and reveals that the whole environment was his illusion, and when Yamamoto tries to use his final attack, he slams directly into the wall. Meanwhile, Chrome has seem to have infiltrated the base and is supposedly going to get the new map of the base. Irie, still is unable to find Spanner and he talks how he may have realized how Spanner has decided to ally with the Vongola. Gokudera and Gamma’s fight seem to be going to end soon and both of them deliver their last attack.

Review:

The start of this episode was quite good, Genkishi seemed to be losing although the sudden turn of event made it really interesting. In addition, having Chrome, who was injured before, join the battle against the Millefiore was also quite a surprise. Now all that is missing is Hibari and Lambo, but I’m still wondering if Lambo will actually participate in the battle or not. With more and more unexpecting things that happened in this episode, I’m guessing that the next episode will get better.

Summary:

Near the end of the last episode, Yamamoto was seen to be hit my Genkishi although that Yamamoto was just an illusion and therefore he wasn’t really hit. Yamamoto continues his fight with Genkishi, and with his Shigure Shouen style he manages to make Genkishi draw out his sword. The fight between Gokudera and Gamma is still raging on and both of them seem to have similar resolutions. Genkishi uses his illusion skills and strikes a blow on Yamamoto’s sword which gave it cracks. Meanwhile, Irie sent Iris and Ginger Bread to look for Spanner although he is nowhere to be found. Yamamoto remembers about the fights Squalo had recorded and he especially remembers how Squalo said that Genkishi was able to trick everyone around him, including the camera.Tsuna cannot wait until his contact lenses finishes the fine adjustments and keeps worrying about his fellow friends. Yamamoto later attacks Genkishi, although Genkishi said that his sword will break, and later realizes that the cracks on his sword was an illusion made by Genkishi.

Review:

This episode was quite a good one, mainly because Yamamoto is one of the characters I like more. Anyways, Genkishi seems to be quite strong as he instills fear into his opponents and then easily defeats them when they are scared. Most of Yamamoto’s  moves have been used in just this episode, and I think that it showed how he improved a lot from the beginning. I’m really looking forward to the next few episodes and I would really like to see what will happen between the Vongola and the Millefiore.

Summary:

The Millefiore assault squad that attacked Hibari at the Vongola base seemed to have return all heavily wounded. Yamamoto meets up with Genkishi where he senses a murderous aura. Genkishi also tells him how he intentionally lost to Squalo in order to form Millefiore. Back at the Vongola base, I-Pin and Lambo are missing and Haru and Kyoko decide to look for him using a map of the hideout. Irie seems to have noticed Spanner’s false report, and Ginger Bread told Irie about the possibility of Spanner being a traitor. Tsuna finally gets his contacts on although the image is quite blurry, and Spanner needs time to make adjustments. Genkishi decides to fight Yamamoto only with his hands, which excites Yamamoto but Yamamoto is the first one to get a direct hit.

Review:

This episode’s plot escalated yet again and stronger enemies have been encountered by the Vongola. During this time, another mystery has appeared, with the disappearance of Lambo and I-pin in front of Hibari’s base. With the slight air time of Squalo and another of the Varia squad, I’m wondering if they will play a more bigger role in the future episodes. Things have been going quite well for the Vongola, but this episode balances out the good luck, and right now it seems that the Mlilefiore has the upper hand.

Summary:

While still being in the virtual space Tsuna decides to fight with the box-shaped robot of Irie’s. Even after draining the place, Irie’s men are unable to track down where Tsuna is. Meanwhile, Yamamoto meets up with Nosaru and fights with him. Nosaru is shocked when Yamamoto is almost at a complete different level than before. Irie tries to find Tsuna by moving the base yet again, and this makes Nosaru separate from Yamamoto. Spanner starts remembering about the past when Irie asked him what the is shape of the most strongest robot. Spanner than talks about how the robot Tsuna is fighting can transform into different types depending on the situation. With the re-programed virtual space, Tsuna is brought back to the real world just right after he uses his X-Burner with full power.

Review:

Well, this episode was quite ok. Nothing much interesting other than the fact that Spanner used to be high-school students with Irie. Unluckily, the part where Tsuna uses his X-Burner at max power at the box-shaped robot wasn’t aired, this makes me wonder if he actually defeated it or not. Although, is seems quite likely that Tsuna did. With the plot getting better and better I’m hoping that this series will bring more surprises.

Summary:

Tsuna is still hesitating on whether or not to put on the contacts, while Spanner and Reborn decide to send him into a virtual world to apply fixes to the contacts. Tsuna sits on the chair and puts on the helmet while risking his life as whatever happened to him there, will happen to him in real life.  Tsuna fights with one of Spanner’s Moscas and defeats it with his X-Burner, upon fighting the second one, Tsuna drowns and the little-Mosca quickly takes off Tsuna’s helmet thus saving his life. Since both Spanner and Reborn know that Tsuna isn’t using his full power, they both urge him to do so later. Tsuna goes into the virtual world again and he confronts a upgraded King Mosca, where he seems to have a hard time shooting X-Burner on it. Irie while still controlling the base, moves the base again to drain the water where Spanner and Tsuna fought. This causes a huge earthquake and causes a lamp to fall onto Spanner’s computer therefore destroying it. Spanner’s program is messed up and Tsuna is met with one of Irie’s robots that he sent into the virtual world. Tsuna decides not to run away and wants to fight it to go back to the real world.

Review:

This episode was quite ok, it focused mainly on Tsuna and nobody else. All I can say here is that how is draining the place going to help Irie with his search, I mean can’t you just stop the water flow and send scuba divers? Well, this virtual world thingy seems quite cool, but I am bothered by the how Irie is able to locate that place and send in his weird cube-ish robot. I’m really wondering on what that robot can do and I can’t wait till I watch the next episode.

Summary:

Yamamoto is walking with Lal-Mirch where suddenly, Lal-Mirch wakes up and recalls back to what has happened this night. She remembers how Hibari was sent to intercept some of Millefiore’s land forces, in addition to how she fought with Ginger Bread, although it was just a copy. Lal-Mirch also sees the great change from the others as they didn’t decide to leave her alone. Part of Tsuna’s battle with Spanner was re-caped, as well as Ryohei’s battle with Serpent Tempetesta. After Yamamoto tells Lal-Mirch they were separated, parts of Ryohei and Gokduera’s battle with Gamma was shown. Basically, this episode was just a recap of recent event that happened in this series

Review:

Being a filler episode, I think that this episode was extremely boring. I have no idea what to say about this since there hasn’t been much new things other than the fact that Lal-Mirch woke up. All I can say is that I’m hoping that the next episode will be more related to the plot and such episodes wouldn’t happen again.

Summary:

While in the fight between Gokudera and Gamma, Gamma remembers back to the past before the Millefiore was merged together. He remembered the death of his previous boss, and he was shocked when he realized that she had a daughter, Yuni. Gamma didn’t believe that Yuni was indeed the previous bosses’ daugther and it took him quite a while to believe her, when Gamma saw a similar smile on Yuni’s face. Back at the Melone Base, Tsuna is scared of putting on the contacts since he has never wore one before. Gamma later tells Gokudera that he wants to kill Byakuran. Back into the past again, one day Genkishi comes back defeated saying how he made a deal with Byakuran. Seeing the wounded Genkishi, Yuni decides to talk with Byakuran. Byakuran goes into a private conversation with Yuni, and the family members are all worried outside the door. When Yuni comes out, Gamma finds out that she has changed completely and her eyes look lifeless, and tries to attack Byakuran. The now lifeless Yuni, steps out to defend Byakuran making Gamma unable to attack. At the end, Gamma mentions to Gokudera how Genkishi is the biggest traitor of the Gigleo Nero Family.

Review:

This episode was quite good, although I didn’t like the constant changing from the past to the present. It would have been better if they just finished all of the past parts, then jump back into the present. Anyways, this episode was really interesting as it presents new mysteries to the viewers, and now I’m sitting in front of my computer wondering what exactly happened to Yuni. I really want to continue on to watching the next episode and finally catching up with the current series.

Note:

For those wondering of the slow and late posts, I currently don’t have my room as my nephew came back to live in it. As a result, I cannot freely enter my room and I can only do so when he goes outside. The blog will now have quite random times of posting, and this may last around one or two months (basically my whole summer). I’ll try my best to continue posting but I’m just giving a head’s up.

To Aru Majutsu no Index Episode 24 Review [End]

Summary:

While Toma is chasing Hyoka he instead meets up with Sherry who fights with him. Sherry explains how thirty years ago a group was formed in order to mix magic and science together, and that one of her partners Ellis was a physic who died after Sherry tried teaching her magic. As a result of this, Sherry wants to ignite a war between both sides so that both sides wouldn’t think of joining up again and such tragedies wouldn’t happen in the future. When Toma fights with Sherry he later remembers a part of Index’s saying and gives a blow onto her face. Toma gets angered by Sherry when she says how physics and magicians cannot be together and be friends, and Toma later defeats her. As soon as, Sherry falls down defeated, the golem Index encounters runs out of control but then Hyoka runs up and protects Index, while Hyoka says that only a monster should fight against a monster. Hyoka is unable to win against the golem but Toma comes over and dispells it with his Imagine Breaker. Mikoto also comes out of nowhere, and seems to be in love with Toma while predicting how Toma messed something up again. Mikoto’s sister, Kuroko comes out and teleports Mikoto away. Hyoka hides from everyone thinking that Index wouldn’t want her as her friend, although Index later appears and proves Hyoka wrong. Tsuchimikado later is seen talking to Aleister Crowley on how he is interested in the Imaginary Numbers Sector and how Aleister wants to create an artificial heaven. Hyoka departs with Index saying how that even if she disappears she may be right next to her without Index knowing it. Accelerator is still seen at the hospital with Last Order and Stiyl is seen with Laura Stuart the archbishop of Necessaruis.

Review:

This episode was great, Toma did much of the work here though. I personally think that this episode did quite a good job of summing up the series, and I’m really looking forward to it. The surprising depression of Sherry really shocked me, she had many sides to her which made it extremely confusing to the viewers. Toma is like the key to opening up the each of the girl’s heart upon meeting them (he’s pro…). In conclusion, this episode is quite good and I don’t really have much to say about it.

Final Thoughts:

This series is great, and I haven’t seen much of such a good series in a long long time. The characters of this series were quite interesting, and I think that Toma is the mots interesting character out of the huge cast. Toma is like super strong with his Imagine Breaker and it makes me wonder how he can defeat people purely with his punches, has he like learned some martial arts of something before? Furthermore, I also wonder how come Toma can have such a lucky harem, is like that Toma is a person in those visual novel games he can be with all these girls at once and make most of the girls take a liking to him (lucky guy…). Well one of the biggest mysteries of this series is that whether it will have a second season or not, which I’m pretty sure it will. Judging from the open-ended ending (or crappy ending), there seems to be many possibilities for this series to continue to develop. With the introduction of the archbishop I’m pretty sure that she will be introduced much more in the later series. This series had some really funny moments and really weird stuff along with that, there also is a bunch of scientific terms which make my head spin. Somehow this series was good in keeping the ecchi-ness for the viewers such as myself, a little fan-service every now and then really makes the viewers happy. If I were to ever choose between a physic and a magician, I would choose being a physic since magicians have to take time memorizing all those chants as well as taking time to prepare their spells. Well, this series shouldn’t have ended that fast and I’m hoping to see an announcement of a second season for this series, till then!
