Wait…there’s more!

Summary:

Nearly coming to an end of the series, Largo comes to Kimlasca and acts as an messenger to tell both countries to listen to the order of Loreliel. The king of Kimlasca declines and says that it is unnecessary to obey the score. Then Natalia is told the truth about her real father, and it seems that she is shocked when she finds out the Largo is her “real” father. Jade talks to Spinoza who tells them a way to stop planet storm, Spinoza says that by going to the absorption gate and using the jewel to absorb the seventh fonons, while also have to going to the radiation gate at the same time and using fonic hymns planet storm will stop. There the group split up into Tear, Jade, Anise who goes to the radiation gate, and Luke, Guy, Natalia who go to the absorption gate. Tear, Jade, and Anise arrive at the radiation gate where they encounter Mohs, who has revived Van and obtained the seventh fonstone along with another replica of Fon Master Ion. Van blasts the group away, and says that he will show no mercy that next time the meet. Tear and group then head on to find Mohs who is forcing the Ion replica to read the score. Tear and group fight him and Tear defeats him with Holy Cross. Meanwhile, Luke and group at are the absorption gate where they meet up with Largo. They fight and Natalia finishes Largo off with an arrow. Largo also mentions a bit about his past and how he met Van, he also stated how they must fight since they have different ideals. Luke and Tear work together and open the gate to Eldrant.

Review:

This episode was quite entertaining, although I didn’t expect Largo and Mohs to die that quickly. I always thought that Mohs was like the “final” boss but it seems that I was wrong, and I’m guessing that Van would be the final person to defeat. With three six god generals gone (Arietta, Largo, and Dist) and only two left (Asch doesn’t count as one anymore). I have always wondered where has Sync and Legretta went, I haven’t seen then from a long time already. Anyways, I’m guessing that these two character will show up again in the future episodes and that the plot would be getting better and better.

Summary:

When Luke and group finally get to the top of the tower in order to stop Asch from sacrificing himself. Dist comes over and interrupts them, although Jade easily finishes him off with a magic attack named Mystic Cage. Later Asch and the replicas make an agreement as to if they sacrifice everyone at the tower, then he would find a place for the remaining ones to live peacefully. Asch then leaves them to make a decision, since the replicas realized that Mohs has already abandoned them. At Kimlasca, where Natalia tells her father that they should stop Asch. Jade then suggests something else, which is Luke could do it instead. All of Luke’s friends then try to talk Luke out of his decision, and Tear seems to respect his decision because he respected her decision when she decided to open up the seals. Tear also says that even though the miasma would clear up after his sacrifice, she will still hate him even when everyone else looks up to him as a hero. The next day, Luke finally decides to do it and tells the kings of the two countries. Luke and group goes back to the tower, and the replicas have agreed to sacrificed themselves to Luke, as long as the others have places to live. Just as soon as Luke begins, Asch comes over and tries stopping him, Luke grabs the Key of Lorelei and begins. Luke starts disappearing, but since he had the jewel the seventh fonons started to disperse, and therefore Asch came over and helped him on the process. Then the whole world loses its miasma and Luke seems to be alive. Leaving the jewel with Luke, Asch disappears again to find Van. Luke goes to have a medical checkup and finds out that he will eventually die. After coming out to meet everyone Luke lies saying that he is ok, and when everyone leaves Jade tells Luke that he has seen through his lie. Luke then tells the truth and both of them didn’t notice that Mieu and Tear was eavesdropping.

Review:

This episode was quite good, although I didn’t expect the main character to die out. I think that this is one of the first series I have seen to “lead” character going on a path to death. Although things may still change, I doubt that Luke will still be alive. I’m quite fine with having one of the “side” characters losing their life, but the “lead” character is a whole different story. With four episodes left I’m realy wondering to how the plot will develop from this episode on.

Summary:

Tsuna finally start doing his usual things, and wakes up eating breakfast with everyone, making him feel quite happy. Then Tsuna heads to school, while meeting everyone on the way, and finds that there are two new transfer students to his class, Monta Hariyama and Himeko Hariyama. During break, Tsuna and group is attacked by Lal-Mirch on the rooftop. Colonello comes over and meets up with Lal-Mirch his previous tutor where Lal-Mirch blushes while talking to him. Colonello then says he is going to be holding trial one, and that Lal-Mirch is just an observer. After school, the group meet up with Colonello at Mt. Namimori, where he chooses to fight both Tsuna and Gokudera. They will manage to win if they get the badge off him that is pinned to his head. Gokudera being as cocky as he sometimes is, charges head into the battle. Gokudera is hit by tons of traps and both of them soon realize they have to fight together in order to overcome this trial.

Review:

Being in not such a good quality, this episode didn’t seem quite as good as it was supposed to be. Anyways, the storyline seems to be quite good here, although I’m confused with the introduction with the two new transfer students. I suppose that they will be related to the mafia somehow, and that would be revealed in the future. Nevertheless, this episode was quite good with the first trial underway, I’m wondering to how long that this trial drag on. I guess that it won’t be long until Tsuna and group get sent back into the future again, plus I’m really wondering to see what is inside Tsuna’s box.

Summary:

All of the six god generals continue to gather at the protected flying piece of land, then Largo realizes that he has lost his necklace of Natalia. Luke and group go back to Kimlasca and talk with the king. After Luke send all the women away, he goes to talk with his uncle (the king) and asks for the confirmation of the necklace he found. Asch and Luke have their own “private” talk and Asch later comes to where Luke is. Asch then meets up with his long lost parents, who go up to hug him. When Asch later leave the palace (his house), he later seems to be near his death. Luke and group then go out to find the researcher where Jade later explains the way to eliminate all the miasma around the world. Unluckily, Asch was also listening and therefore he decided to kill ten thousand of seventh fonists in order to destroy the miasma. Luke suspects Asch’s eavesdropping and he decides to go find him. Surprisingly, he finds Asch at this tower, where Asch is trying to get to the top.

Review:

This episode wasn’t as good as I thought. I don’t really like bunch of serious talking, and nothing much really happened. The next episode would be filled with a bunch of action I guess, since may be Asch and Luke would fight eachother again. With only five episodes left, I’m hoping for a major change in the plot and the reappearance of Van, since it’s suggested that he is still alive. I’m really looking forward to the next episode, and I really wonder what would Asch and Luke do.

Summary:

As Tsuna and group makes final preparations for returning to the past, the Arcobalenos decide to gather in Namimori. Irie then explains how Tsuna and group are not supposed to mention the future to the people in the past, and they have to use the excuse of being missing during a picnic for three days. Irie then states how they must finish the trials within a week, and then he proceeds to send them back into the past.  Tsuna manages to go back to his long awaited home, and meets up with Futa and Tsuna’s mom. Gokudera sees the past Irie, who seems to scare Irie. The past Irie then receives a letter from the future Irie telling him to put the ten year bazooka under the shrine in Namimori or else there would be no future for him. Having known that his father will die in the future, Yamamoto seems to be surprisingly nice to his father, which makes his father get suspicious of his acts. Then, Yamamoto, Gokudera, and Tsuna held a meeting with Reborn about the trials, and Reborn explains that they are the strongest seven and each of them posses a special ability. Reborn also says that the trials aren’t just for Tsuna alone, it involves all of the other guardians as well.

Review:

This episode was quite good, since the Arcobaleno’s secret will seem to be revealed in the near future. Ever since the start of the series, I’ve been wondering what exactly are they. Anyways the next episode seems to be the start of the first trial, and I’m wondering which Arcobaleno would be holding it. Henceforth, I’m quite excited to watch the next episode but it seems that I have to wait for around a week again.

Summary:

After receiving his box weapon from the future, Tsuna realizes that he has to be momentarily sent back to the past in order to use the full power of the Vongola rings. Later Chrome asks Irie to confirm Mukuro’s death, and it seems that he is still alive. Irie also says that the box has seven Arcobeleno seals which have to be obtained through seven different trials. Tsuna and the others eventually get back to the Vongola hideout and didn’t have a conversation on the way back. When they nearly get there, they meet up with the rest of the group and it the mood becomes all happy again. Tsuna, Gokudera, and Yamamoto all decide to explain to Ryohei which surprisingly took around five hours until he had a simple understanding of the current situation. Tsuna is then worried about how he is going to tell Haru and Kyoko about having them return back to the past momentarily again.

Review:

This episode was fine, maybe it was because of the bad-quality or maybe because it was mostly talk. Nevertheless, the kindness Tsuna has greatly surprises me. One thing I dislike about this episode is how Tsuna continually worries, and is one thing I have noticed throughout the series. When anything major happens Tsuna thinks of the worst possibility, but that also makes him more prepared for the future events. Anyways, I’m quite interesting to see how the seven different trials will be like.

Summary:

Anise is still feeling down after Ion’s death, but she suddenly meets up with Arietta who challanges Anise to a dual, which she accepts. Luke and group go to this mountain where Luke meets up with Asch, who blames Luke for unable to retrieve the jewel. Asch then explains that with the missing jewel and the sword he has, the problems would be solved. Later, the group go to this island where they find out where Mohs makes replicas, then when Jade destroys the machine Mohs appears. Mohs wants to gain power, and therefore Dist merged some seventh fonon energy inside him, and later Mohs becomes an ugly demon-like monster. Mohs and Dist escape leaving Luke and group confused. Just before they leave, Mohs seems to have created a replica of this island and sends it to the sky. He then broadcasts his voice to both empires, saying how they neglected the score. When Luke and group think of a way to break through the barrier of Mohs’ floating island, one of Arietta’s ligers bring a letter to Anise telling her where to go meet up with Arietta. Being concered about Arietta, Luke and group also decide to go with her. When they get there, Arietta fights with Anise while Luke and the rest fight with the other animals. Largo is also there becoming an observer, and eventually Arietta loses to Anise. Arietta then thinks back to how she first met Ion and how she was taught to write and speak as she grew up with ligers. At the end, Largo carries Arietta’s dead body and states that the next time they meet all of them will be dead, in addition to if Arietta knew that the original Ion was dead, she would have suicided.

Review:

This episode was quite good, although I didn’t quite expect that the “final” boss would appear so early (unless Mohs isn’t the final one). Anyways, I quite disliked the fact that Arietta died she actually seemed like a good person although she followed the wrong path. I’m guessing that maybe there will be more and more people dying in the future episodes. One random thing that has bothered me, is that how come Mohs ”transformed” so early? With six episodes left, I always thought that his transformation would only happened on the last or the second to last episode.

Summary:

Luke and Tear travel to Daath and meets up with Anise, where they ask if she could arrange a meeting for them and Fon Master Ion. Surprisingly, Jade and Guy are also there and all of them have things to report to Ion. Luke and Tear report that Planet Storm’s activity has been increasing while Jade and Guy report how Dist broke out of prison and saved Mohs that was transporting him. In addition Jade tells how the Malkuth troops that were in training were attacked by an unidentified army who seemed to have a “dead” look in their eyes. The group then decides to go speak with King Inogbert, although Anise suddenly decides to leave them which makes Jade suspicious. When the group gets outside they meet up with Natalia who came to complain about how Malkuth’s forces attacked Kimlasca. The group explains everything to Natalia, and Tear suddenly faints because of the miasma in her body. Not long, Anise comes into the run and drags Ion out saying that there is miasma everywhere and when the group decides to pursue them, they are nowhere to be found. Arietta later explains that Anise took Ion to the Sephiroth to read the Seventh Fonstone. The group finds Anise and Mohs together and learns that Anise has been working for him since the beginning as well as her parents are taken as hostage. Mohs escapes through a passageway and only Arietta manages to get inside, the group then encounters a group of replicas who resemble those who used to be close to them. Luke later finds out that when Anise threw away her doll, there was a letter telling them where to go and when they get to Mount Zaleho they find Ion reading the score. The group attacks Mohs’ troops and defeats them. Anise’s parents are saved and Mohs runs away. Meanwhile, Ion is done reading the score which has depleted all of his energy, making him lose his life. Ion also manages to take the miasma out of Tear’s body and later dies. Ion’s last words told Anise that he cherished her the most. At Daath, Anise explains to Luke how Mohs saved her parents when they were in great debt therefore she had no choice but to obey him.

Review:

I haven’t watched this series in a long time, and this episode was quite refreshing. Since my memory has faded away, it took me quite a while to remember the plot as well as the character’s names. Anyways, this episode seemed to indicate that the peaceful lives are over and a new danger has occurred. This seems to be quite weird, as most rpgs (since this anime was based on it) usually only have one major arc (maybe I played to less rpgs). At first the unidentified army seemed to me like some zombies resurrected from the dead but I was surprised to find out that they were actually replicas. I’m looking forward to the last seven episodes of this series, and I’m hoping that none of the other major characters will pass away like Ion.

Hi everyone, it has been quite a while since a new artwork has been released to the public (well there’s still Ms. Baka). Anyways, this time Nyappy finally finished the blog mascot. As of right now, her current name is Rei and there will be more and more of her drawings found around the blog in the future. Some people may be asking about the disappearance or inactivity of some authors, and I’ll just say that both of them are quite busy and that they would resume sometime soon. Remember to keep an eye out for Rei-chan!

Summary:

This time, the Jun’ichi and group go to Ayanokouji’s private island for their vacation. All of the girls get into bikinis except for Nagomi who wears a school swimsuit. After all being dressed, the girls walk out with some sunscreen that Mitsuki brought out. Tsukasa suddenly takes off the top part of her bikini and just cover them with her hands, and coincidentally Jun’ichi walks over to find them but Yuuhi throws something at him while calling him a pervert. Fuyuhiko then tells Jun’ichi how every man would be jealous of his situation, and he has a caring senpai, a lovely sister, a student council president, a childhood friend, a glasses-girl, an oujo-sama, and a tsundere (wow makes me jealous already) all surrounding him. Next, Seijirou who is Jun’ichi’s teacher, plays volleyball with him and Fuyuhiko knocking both of them out. On the other hand, the girls play around at the beach near the sea and Jun’icih meets up with Nagomi and have a stupid conversation. Later we realize that the sunscreen is something that makes people do daring actions. That night, Jun’ichi encounters Tsukasa who tries to seduce him (super ecchi!), when Tsukasa tries to pull down his zipper Jun’ichi runs away and meets up with the other girls one by one. During the chase when Jun’ichi meets up with a girl there seems to be a brief introduction on the girls. Jun’ichi keeps running and running until he is conered by all the girls, then Jun’ichi couldn’t take it any more and releases his beastly instinct (I guess most men will do so in that situation) but he is stopped by Nagomi who takes all of them out. The next morning, everyone wakes up telling how wierd their dreams were and it seems that Mitsuki knew about the “magical” sunscreen.

Review:

I always thought that this series ended for good, and there wasn’t any planned OVAs, but I guess that I was wrong. Just like most OVAs, this one contains a huge amount of ecchi in it, and that really made a male viewer like me extremely happy. This kind of action seemed to be like a scene from the visual novel game (I have never played it), which seems to be a harem ending. Personally, I’d say that the “magical” sunscreen was quite a surprise as it seemed more and more close to the adult-visual novel game it originally came from. There isn’t much to say here other than I highly recommend this to male viewers who had finished the series already. I’m wondering if there will be more OVAs other than this because a visual novel based anime can have many unexpected things happening to the main character.

Summary:

In the midst of the battle, Xanxus decides to send back Besta back to his box, and warns Jill that when he opens it up the next time he would be dead, unless he calls Byakuran to meet up with him. Jill pretends to send in a report to Byakuran but instead uses his bats to surround him and deal damage on Xanxus. Xanxus was hardly damaged and releases his box weapons. Orgelt jumps in to save Jill although Orgelt gets petrified and falls down to a terrible death. Furthermore, Jill also gets slowly petrified and he keeps trying to save his own life by saying how the Millefiore could accommodate Xanxus, in addition to how the Millefiore would help Xanxus get revenge on Tsuna. Xanxus later says how when the Vongola are faced with a common enemy they will all unite as one. When Jill is defeated, all of the Varia members come together again and report the situation to the Vongola base in Japan. Later, Ryohei is also sent to the future and seems to have no idea what is going on. Meanwhile, Irie goes to the white-rounded device and hands down Tsuna’s box weapon to him.

Review:

This episode was quite good, many things happened although I didn’t expect the battle to end such quickly. With this battle being quite fast, I’m guessing that the Varia would all encounter even stronger opponents which will drag out the battle for a much longer time. In this episode, I quite liked how the Varia had some stupid conversations with each-other as they seem to have internal fights all the time. Nevertheless, this episode presents yet another mystery, what exactly is inside Tsuna’s box weapon? I really want to find out what is inside and what will happen to the Vongola after the victory in Italy.

Summary:

It turns out that the damaged Bel and Fran were just both illusions made up by Fran. Fran later goes on to say how he wants to see the battle between Xanxus and Jill, because he thinks that it would be interesting, Bel agrees with Fran. Squalo and Levi continue to take out the incoming Millefiore, and Levi seems to be a bit tired fighting all of these people. Olgelt sends in his rain elephant but he is unable to hit Xanxus since before it got there it was petrified and destroyed by Xanxus. Jill sees that Xanxus’s box weapon the Sky Lion-Besta is the cause of all this, but Olgelt keeps thinking that there is something wrong since the sky attribute shouldn’t be able to petrify his elephant. Olgelt then sends two of his other elephants to attack but yet they are petrified again and stopped in mid-air. Jill later attacks Xanxus with his storm bats as he did to Fran and Bel. While still on the throne, Xanxus takes a direct hit and this makes Xanxus angry and explain how Baste is a sky-storm liger, who is a cross breed of a sky lion and a storm tiger.

Review:

This episode was quite good to watch, since Xanxus improved greatly from the last ten years. I like how his scars are similar to those of his box weapon since his box weapon changed from a lion (at the start) into a liger. This shows similarity to how Xanxus was just an adopted son of the previous Vongola the Ninth and has completely no blood relationship with him. I’m looking forward to what will happen next episode and I’m curious to what can happen next.

Summary:

When Bel meets with his older brother, Bel thinks back to the past where they used to fight each-other until one day Bel won and killed him. On the other hand, Jill explains how he always was better than Bel at everything, and that day Bel put laxatives inside his drink. After contacting that the group that Jill is one of the Six Funeral Wraths, the squad tries to backup Fran and Bel although they are all busy defending the castle. Lussaria is also seen to be healing the wounded members of the Varia with his box weapon. Back in the Melone Base, Lal-Mirch is shocked to hear from Irie that Jill is one of the Six Funeral Wraths since they thought that he supposedly died ten years ago. Jill, Olgelt, Fran and Bel all release their respective box weapons, with Fran using a hell ring. Jill’s box weapons is revealed to be a storm flame bat who emits storm flames instead of sound waves, which damages Bel and Fran easily. Olgelt later releases three elephant box weapons and charges into the castle. In the ruins of the castle Xanxus is seen to be undamaged and pissed off.

Review:

This episode was quite interesting, especially the funny conversation between Fran and Bel. Fran seems like a quite interesting character to me, as he almost always has only one expression. Anyways, I doubt that Fran and Bel would be defeated so quickly since I have never seen a battle that has lasted so short before. Well, I’m looking forward to the next episode to see how Xanxus developed over the ten years.

Summary:

After the Varia squad took over the castle, the Millefiore get a new captain and surround the castle. Thus, the Varia squad split up into groups in order to defend the castle from the inside and the East and the West. The Varia squad seemed to have internal fights within, and Squalo is the strategic leader who tries to solve the problem. There also seems to be a new member called Fran who seems to be an illusionist. Bel and Fran travel together, with Bel constantly attacking Fran with his knifes. Fran gets angry, pulls them off and throws them away, which makes Bel release his box weapon to kill the surrounding Millefiore members. Meanwhile, Squalo seems angry since the boss is making demands about meat and food, without noticing the battle that is going on. Bel and Fran encounter Bel’s former butler as well as Bel’s older twin brother. Back at Melone base, Irie explains to the Vongola how Byakuran’s powers are only useful under certain restrictions.

Review:

To sum this episode up, this episode was mostly dealing with how the Varia are going to battle the Millefiore. With old friends of Bel appearing, as well as a new member Fran this makes this episode seems more interesting to the viewers. The stupid internal fights between members of the Varia are quite funny, since it seems as they are not serious about what is happening and continue to mess around with each-other. Anyways, I’m looking forward to how the battle will be fought, and maybe if there will be new characters.
