Summary:
With the airbike out, everyone gives it a try in order to see if they can ride it or not. Giannini gives a short demonstration of how to ride the bike and it seems at first that only Gokudera is able to ride this thing. Giannini explains that this bike is powered on death-peneration flames and the material is built using the same material as the ones used to build marmon rings. Since Tsuna never was able to ride a bicycle until fourth grade, he wonders if he can just fly around using his gloves. Reborn then tells him that flying around using that method will only make it so that people would easily find him, making that a bad way for playing the game of choice. Seeing that the airbike is a good way of transportation, Giannini and Spanner decide to stay up all night in order to complete bunch of airbikes for everyone to have one of their own. That night it seems that Gokudera and Yamamoto were training for the airbike and the next day it seems that everyone (including Basil) is able to ride the bike except for Tsuna. While training, Tsuna decides to go out to fetch a glass of water. Tsuna listens to how Kyoko and Haru was able to learn cooking slowly step by step, Tsuna is determined to learn how to ride the airbike. Surprisingly, Tsuna is able to ride his airbike although he still has ways to go.
Review:
This episode was quite in the middle, maybe because I predicted most of the story line in this episode. I really dislike how Tsuna always believe that he is no good, but I cannot blame him for thinking so because he grew up having the nickname “dame-Tsuna” (no good Tsuna). This episode did provide quite a bit of comic relief from the all the things that has been going on, but I’m guessing that these filler/comic-relief episodes have really been a bit too long. Well nevertheless, the next episode seems to be about the box weapons and I’m hoping to see the box-weapons to be starring in the episodes instead of just the opening part of the series.

Gundam 00 Season 2 Episode 24 Review

Summary:
This episode starts off with the battle between Setsuna and Louise. Louise traps Setsuna by holding onto him and the battle ends when a kamikaze hits them. Surprisingly, they survive and Louise is taken away by Saji, Setsuna then fights the other two Innovators. Where Veda is, Tieria is shot down byRibbons. After being taken away, Louise wakes up and tries to strangle Saji. Louise then suffers a mental breakdown when she sees that Saji has still kept the ring. Meanwhile, it seems that Lasse and GN Archer have both run out of particle beams and therefore they cannot fight, therefore they are hit easily by the kamikazes. As the battle goes on with Setsuna and the Innovators, Setsuna activates his trans-am while realizes the dire situation that all of his friends and comrades are in. Then Setsuna somehow activiates trans-am burst turning him into a true Innovator, and spreads his GN particles all over the battlefield. With the particles is seems that most people have stop fighting and come to peace; Billy and Sumeragi start working together as well as Louise and Saji. By blasting the enemies away with his GN particles, Setsuna charges in to find Veda. When he gets to Veda he finds that Tieria has already merged with Veda to become one; Celestial Being has taken control over Veda. With this, Tieria shuts down all of the kamikaze and the Innovator’s mobile suits with his trial field that is emitted from his Seraphim Gundam. Then, Lockon is able to defeat Ali-Al Saachez easily and avenges his family members. Tieria then tells Setsuna about the true meaning behind Aeolia Schenberg’s plan. As Setsuna tries to return to Ptloemaios II, he finds the Seraphim is shot down by Ribbons; Setsuna then prepares for the final battle with Ribbons.
Review:
This episode was amazing, I didn’t expect such things to happen. I did guess that Setsuna will become a true Innovator but I didn’t realize that apparently nobody has died yet. There is only one thing that bothers me, where has Graham Aker (Mr. Bushido) gone to, I’m guessing that he might appear out of nowhere to help Setsuna during his final battle with Ribbons. Well although I expected some characters to die, I’m guessing that a happy ending will also be something good to look forward to in the next and final episode. Anyways, I guess that I won’t be watching the final episode soon, but be prepared to read even more blocks of text next time!

Gundam 00 Season 2 Episode 23 Review
November 27, 2009 at 9:02 am | In Anime, Gundam 00 | Leave a CommentTags: A-Laws, Ali Al-Saachez, Andrei, Arios, Celestial Being, GN archer, gundam, Gundam 00, Innovators, kamikaze, Lockon, Lockon Startos, Louise, Ptolemaios II, Ribbons, Saji, setsuna

Summary:
It seems as first the Regene managed to kill Ribbons, although it seems that Ribbons is already linked with Veda therefore his physical body can be reproduced. The battle continues with the Celestial Being and A-laws, and when Ribbons finally fires a massive cannon to destroy most of the Katharon, and Federation warships Veda is finally revealed. The Celestial Being then decide to invade the mothership in order to obtain Veda again. While rushing towards the mothership, Celestial Being is attacked by the GaGa squad which is a bunch of kamikaze mobile suits with trans-am. The kamikaze mobile suits manage to damage the Celestial Being as well as their allies. Then, Patrick Colasour sacrifices himself in order to save Kati from being hit by a bunch of kamikazes. The Celestial Being find an invasion route and charge inside, they later find that there are a bunch of automatons trying to invade their ship. Meanwhile, Seravee is destroyed by the new Innovator suits and Setsuna faces Andrei and Louise. Lockon fights against Ali-Al Saachez and Arios along with GN Archer defends Ptolemaios II. GN Archer runs out of particles and is charged by a kamikaze. Sumeragi comes out of the control room armed to fight the automatons and finds her past friend Billy Katagiri and points a pistol at Sumeragi. Inside Veda’s core, Ribbons finds Tieria who is facing him a gunpoint.
Review:
This episode was quite satisfactory, although one thing I disliked it how it was quite confusing in the earlier parts of the episode. All one sees is a bunch of warships and mobile suits flying around and shooting tons of particle beams. With only two episodes left to go in this series, I’m wondering which characters will survive and which will die. Judging from the loss of several members of the Celestial Being in the last season, I’m guessing that there will be some people who would be sacrificed for the greater good. Anyways, look out for the next episode review and a final summary of the whole series.

Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn Episode 160 Review
November 22, 2009 at 11:28 am | In Anime, Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn! | 2 CommentsTags: Byakuran, Choice, Giannini, Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn!, Millefiore, reborn!, spanner, tsuna, Vongola

Summary:
Tsuna and group are called to assemble at the operation room by Reborn so that Irie can explain the game choice to them. Irie tells them how they invented the game Choice, and how it developed as time passed. As the game has lots of events and freedom, it was later developed into a computer game. Irie then goes on to explain how the game is where two sides have separate bases, and the opposing sides have to invade and destroy the other side’s base. Seeing that the battlefield has to be around ten kilometers in diameter, Irie is worried that they cannot find something with good mobility. Reborn then invokes a competition for the best technician and makes Giannini and Spanner both work hard to try and solve the problem. Both pulling off all-nighters, Giannini and Spanner bring their inventions for a test-run in the Vongola base. Both people’s inventions all have flaws which allows their inventions to become useless. When Lambo comes in with his tricycle, Giannini suddenly thought of the future Tsuna’s collection room. Giannini brings everyone to the collection room, and shows them the air bike left by the future Tsuna.
Review:
This episode was quite good, although some parts of it could have been cut short. I’m not sure if this episode has similarities to the manga, although this episode seems to have a little advance in the plot. The few days left by Byakuran, seems to be dragged out for a long time, and it is evident that many days have passed already and everyone is still relaxing. I’m looking forward to see some more training here and there in the next few episodes. Anyways, I’m guessing that from here on the plot will finally advance (slowly) and the filler parts will be cut to a minimum.

Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn Episode 158 Review

Summary:
Being constantly worried about Chrome, Kyoko and Haru try to slowly approach her and try to get Chrome to eat. Tsuna sees that Kyoko and Haru are worried about Chrome, therefore he decides to help out. Tsuna tries approaching Chrome and it seems that since Chrome is not used to the kindness of other she usually locks herself up in her room. Tsuna then realizes that he knows almost nothing about Chrome and decides to meet Irie and Spanner while also bringing them a bento. unfortunately, Irie doesn’t know much about Chrome and all he knows is that Mukuro is possibly still alive. Basil finally wakes up and Tsuna decides to throw a welcome party for him (the true reason was because they wanted a feast). Duirng the party, I-pin sneaks out to Chromes room and happens to go inside and share a red-bean gyoza with Chrome. The next morning, Kyoko and Haru find out that Chrome is helping out with the dishes and thus they become friends.
Review:
This episode was quite boring, it seems that the fillers are still going to go on for quite a while and nothing much is going to happen. possibly, there would be an episode dedicated to each of the major characters so I’m guessing that there would be around half a month or so until there would be something interesting to look at. Anyways this episode didn’t quite interest me and I’m hoping that these filler episodes will finally end.

Gundam 00 Season 2 Episode 22 Review

Summary:
The duel between Setsuna and Mr. Bushido ends quite quickly after Setsuna has went through innovation. Setsuna defeats Mr. Bushido but decides to spare his life, telling him that he fights in order to live on. When Setsuna gets back to the Ptolemaios II, the code from Wang Liu Mei is decrypted and they find out the exact location of Veda. The crew decides to go to Veda in order to re-capture it. Ptolemaios II then receives a transmission where Lina brings more weapons to upgrade the gundams. To destroy Celestial Being completely, Arthur Goodman assembles a huge fleet and send a decoy to the Celestial Being. After destroying the decoy, anti-GN particle cloud covers the whole area which causes the Celestial Being to become unable to fight back as their beam weapons become useless. A-Laws break through their defenses and until the Katharon and other allies come the Celestial Being is badly damaged. When the reinforcement comes, the Celestial Being rush forward to destroy the main fleet in the battle. Surprisingly, Kati Mannequin joined up with the “anti-government” forces because she realized how inhumane the A-Laws were and how they became just a puppet of a government. At the same time, Ribbons reads Regena’s thought and tells her that he has noticed her intentions. Regena takes out her pistol and accurately gives Ribbons a headshot.
Review:
This episode was quite great, only having three episodes left in the series I guess that the last three episodes would be all on fighting. One thing that I disliked it how I sort of predicted the conclusion of the battle between Setsuna and Mr. Bushido. This episode shows how governments can become corrupt and causes their army to become mere puppets of the government. I also liked how the respective characters of the Celestial Being finally become determined to fight for their own future, although they have different reasons their reasons become linked as one when they fight against the A-Laws. With this series nearly ending, I’m hoping to see a fantastic battle between the Innovators and the Celestial Being.

Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn Episode 155 Review
October 18, 2009 at 9:34 am | In Anime, Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn! | Leave a CommentTags: Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn!, reborn!, tsuna, Vongola, Irie, box weapons, Byakuran, Melone Base, Vongola Rings, six funeral wreaths

Summary:
After returning to the future, Bianchi comes along with Futa to take Kyoko and Haru out of the Melone Base. Then Byakuran send a hologram to both the Varia and the Vongola guardians about the “real” six funeral wreaths. It seems that Byakuran had already anticipated the betrayal of Irie, therefore he didn’t give him the real mare rings. Byakuran then goes on to show the real six funeral wreaths, and he explains to Irie where he has found them. Byakuran uses one as an example and shows a person how destroyed his hometown in order to show his loyalty to Byakuran. Upon seeing this video, the Vonogla guardians seem to be scared of facing such a strong opponent. Byakuran then activates the teleportation system inside the Melone Base and causes everything to teleport somewhere else leaving only the white rounded machine. Irie explains that he has prevent them from teleporting away because all of the Vongola rings are gathered together. Later, all the Vongola guardians regain their confidence and assume that they are able to take down their new enemy. Seeing this, Irie gives all of the guardians their respective box-weapons left by their future selves.
Review:
This episode was quite good, although it was mainly a bunch of talking. One thing that I wonder is what will happen to the people who were teleported away in the Melone Base? Just one of my crazy guesses, is that people such as Gamma will join back with Irie and fight with the Vongola against Byakuran. Furthermore, I’m really excited to see what the Vongola will do in the ten days gap that Byakuran left for them. In short, I cannot wait to watch the next episode to see how the plot advances.

Gundam 00 Season 2 Episode 21 Review
October 9, 2009 at 6:13 pm | In Anime, Downloads, Gundam 00 | Leave a CommentTags: Gundam 00, gundam, A-Laws, trans-am, Allelujah, Marie, Louise, setsuna, Ptolemaios, Mr. Bushido, Wang Liu Mei, Nena Trinity, Lyle, 00-Raiser, Hong Long, Saiji, Innoavtor, Veda, Aeolia Schenberg

Summary:
When Ptolemaios II decides to go a system check by temporarily cutting down the power, Saji sees that Setsuna starts to have “Innovator eyes” although Saji seems to be unaware of that. The crew of Ptolemaios II get an encrypted message, which is two co-ordinates. Setsuna and Saji head out there, and on the way Lyle was about to shoot Setsuna but then decides not to. Allelujah tries to drag Marie out of the battlefield by calling her to pilot, but Marie refuses because she wants revenge. Back on the A-Law’s warship, the Innovators think back to the past battle where Anew died, and where Setsuna easily defeated them. The Innovators think that Setsuna is undergoing the process of Innovation, to become the first human Innovator. At Lagrange 5, Hong Long and Liu Mei seemed to have survived Nena’s attack. Nena pops up and tries to shoot Liu Mei, although Hong Long blocks it and is sacrificed. Liu Mei escapes and meets up with Setsuna while giving him the co-ordinates for Veda. On her little escape ship, Nena pilots her Throne and kill Liu Mei, stating that she hated Liu Mei. Mr. Bushido announces his true identity to Setsuna and forces Setsuna to a duel. Setsuna accepts and starts fighting him, although they seem to be in a stalemate. Meanwhile, Nena’s haro is controlled by Ribbon when Ribbons heard about Nena’s betyral. Ribbons tells Nena that there would be someone to punish her and it seems that Louise comes over and defeats Nena. Louise goes through another mental breakdown, after avenging her parents. When Setsuna and Mr. Bushido both open trans-am, they enter an alternate reality where Setsuna realizes the true motive behind Aeolia Schenberg planning; to prepare humans for innovation.
Review:
This episode was quite good, I especially liked the new mobile suit Mr. Bushido had, as well as the suit where the beam particles could turn. Having many deaths in this episodes, I’m wondering if the ending would have some of the main characters dead as well. In this episode, again we see how war twists people’s personality as well as how Celestial Being’s existences changed the life and fate of many other characters. With only four episodes left in this second season, I’m hoping to see a good ending as well as a good plot that could be summed up in the movie coming next year.
