Taku feels sorry for Takumi, which makes Taku decides to not use his power, although Takumi urges Taku do use them to destroy Noah II. Norose is seen next to Noah II along with the captured Rimi, where he betrays his investors and make him kill each-other by making both of them see eac-other as Norose. Taku reaches Noah II, and is immediately attack by Norose by his delusional attacks. Taku goes through a series of delusions, although he is saved by Takumi’s scarce amount of powers. Taku basically turns invisible absorbing all the delusions and is unharmed by Norose’s physical attacks. Meanwhile, the remaining Gigalomaniaxs gather together and concerte their powers into Shibuya river underground where Noah II is located. Using the combined powers of the Gigalomaniaxs Taku destroys Norose along with Noah II. At the end, Taku kisses with Rimi while telling her that Takumi is already dead, and meets up with the other Gigalomaniaxs.
Reivew:
Yay! I finally finished this series, and it is the first anime series I finished reviewing on this blog. I really loved this episode, the drastic change of Taku’s personality was great and kept me really happy. At the start of this series, Taku was some otaku that scared the hell out of me, while at the end Taku has turned into a person will a lot more courage and power which is used to saved Rimi and destroy Noah II. Nevertheless, the fighting scenes of this episode was excellent, although I was slightly confused at the delusion attacks cause it was really hard to follow.
Final Thoughts:
Personally, I think that this is an excellent anime even will all the confusing aspects of Gigalomaniaxs and their surroundings. I would really recommend this anime for anyone looking for constant surprises. Throughout the series, I was shocked to the new discoveries for example Taku getting a Di-Sword, Taku being a delusion himself etc… The girls in this anime was all good looking (aren’t all anime girls like that?), and it was not quite hard to believe that this series came out of a visual novel. The storyline was excellent, as it turn an otaku into some hero who basically saved the world from Noah II. The terminology mentioned in this series was really intense, looks like the person who made the visual novel was a smart person indeed (or maybe he just used google). Each character is also quite unique, well it does have to be as the character came from a visual novel. The series was also good in revealing and solving the many different mysteries I had in my head while watching this series. The ending was quite a good sum-up for the series although the really last scene didn’t seem quite good for me, and it looks like it could have a next season (I hope…) The girls were just gathered all around Taku and the aftermath of this series was something that left me thinking in doubt. Other than the crappy two-three minutes or so this series was a very good one to watch. In conclusion, this series was one of better anime series I have finished so far (fine…there’s a lot good series too…) and I hope to be finishing more review for anime series on this blog.

Taku starts off with having a long talk with Shogun (the real Takumi). The real Takumi tells Taku about how he is a delusion along with many other hidden facts, in addition to making Taku realize that he is in love with Rimi. Later on, there is a bit of the past where it shows how Rimi and Shogun meet together, which is when Rimi was being held captive Takumi and Rimi had their delusions synchronized. Furthermore, Takumi tells Taku to defeat Norose who is the “root” of all evil. At this moment Taku awakens and obtains his Di-Sword. After getting one, he quickly destroys all the transmitters beside him in order to stop the chaos. Then he meets the nurse, Shino Hazuki who is actually the real person behind all the New Gene incident who is also Taku’s online friend Grim. When Taku looks into her mind/memories, Hazuki suicides and a major earthquake occurs in Shibuya. A moment later, Taku meets up with Nanami, Yua and Ayase where Taku tells the “real” Nanami that her real brother is Takumi/Shogun. Just as Sena decides to kill her dad, she suffers from delusions created by Suwa and is unable to fight back. Suwa shoots a bullet at Sena but her dad quickly decides to take the shot for her and dies. During the same time, Kozupii is also affected by Suwa’s delusions in which she is unable to move. Taku comes over and saves Kozupii, which somehow retrieves her ability to talk normally again. Suwa attacked Taku was delusional crosses trying to imitate the First New Gene Incident. Having a completely new power inside him, Taku is able to reverse the delusion to Suwa therefore kills him. Sena is later seen crying over her dead father and Taku walks toward Noah II and Norose.
Review:
This episode was great, most of the questions have been solved and it wasn’t really confusing in this episode. I really liked the big change in Taku since he gained a lot more courage since the first few episodes. In conclusion, this episode was extremely interesting to watch. Anways, I’m looking forward to how this series will end (one episode left).

Summary:
Rimi and Taku are at where Taku’s thinks his house is, and Rimi explains how Taku is just a delusion of someone else. As a result, Taku gets all scared and doesn’t completely believe her. Back at Detectives Ban’s place, he finally realizes that Nozomi technology is behind all the GE (Gravitational Errors). Soon after, Ban receives a phone call from Sawa where Sawa pretends he is at the hospital. Ban gets to the empty hospital in order to find Sawa, where Yua decides to follow him. We also see that Shina is revealed to be Grim (Taku’s online friend). Yua is shocked to see her dead sister Mia at the hospital and it disturbed by her little sister, since she says that she is Yua and Yua is Mia. Ban goes up to the hospital’s rooftop and meets Sawa. Sawa slowly walks over and then shoots Ban with a pistol saying that Ban knows too much. Yua is angered by Mia and draws out her Di-Sword, thus swings it against Mia. It then shows that Mia was actually a person with the transmitter device for Noah II. Back at Taku’s home, Taku starts freaking out since he keeps thinking that he is merely a delusion and that all his past are made up. Rimi goes inside Nozomi Technology and tries to save the “real” Nanami (Taku’s Nanami is a delusion) where Rimi loses to Norose, since he knows Rimi’s weakness. We also see a bit of Rimi’s past, showing that she used to be an experiment for Nozomi Technology in addition to see that Nanami has been “brainwashed” by Norose. Meanwhile, Taku realizes that Nanami is fake and freaks out and walks outside seeing that everything around him is chaos (caused by him?). Taku’s expression also seems similar to that of a “crazy” person. Taku later stumbles upon Shogun who tells Taku that he is the only person who can save everyone from Nozomi Technology.
Review:
Sorry for not posting in a long time (sister/nephew still here). Hopefully they will be gone in around one week or so. Anyways, this episode was really cool, since we seem to understand more about what is going on (never really did). All the complex mysteries of this anime have started to be solved one by one, which I soon hope that the last two episodes will fully cover. In conclusion, I’m really looking to how this episode will end (have to catch up on my anime).

December 30, 2008 at 3:41 pm | In Anime, Chaos;Head | Leave a CommentTags: Chaos;Head, Di-sword, Gigalomaniax, New Gene, Noah II, Nozomi, Rimi, Takumi

Summary:
It starts off with Yua going to see detective Ban since she believes that the person responsible for the New Gene cases is Takumi, in addition to the fact that her twin sister was a victim of the First New Gene incident. In the middle of Yua and Ban’s conversation, Suwa calls Ban in order to tell him that the Sixth New Gene incident has just happened, from the scene we see a scary/evil look on Suwa’s face maybe telling us that is he somehow related to New Gene. Takumi also receives the information about the Sixth New Gene incident and he starts looking up an essay he wrote before about “Those eyes whose eyes are they?”. Behind the essay, he finds that there are some scribbles along with the formula. Back to the conversation with Yua and Dan, Yua tells him that he saw Ayase pull out a sword from out of nothing. The following day, Takumi, his friend, and Rimi decide to go to the hospital in order to check on Ayase. Rimi was lost, therefore Takumi and his friend split off to find her. Takumi reaches a floor with its walls and rooms completely white. Seeing this, he walks around on that floor until he reaches this dark place, which scares him and makes him run away. While he is running, we see a nurse repeatably saying something weird while looking at the computer. Sena and Kozupii was at Takumi’s house and Sena finds out that Takumi supposedly invented the formula. Back at the hospital, Takumi meets up with his friend only to see that Rimi was slapped by Ayase. Ayase comes back into her ward and spills out a bunch of information making Takumi’s friend lost interest in her. Takumi’s friend leaves and Ayase tells him some information on finding the Di-Sword, and a little bit about her past. Upon returning to his house, Takumi was attacked by Sena , in which Rimi shows that she is a Gigalomaniax also and protects Takumi, furthermore Rimi seems to know about everything that has been going on. Later we see the Nozomi group again, talking about the formula is the core to Noah II, in addition to that there will be another earthquake (at a larger scale) produced by Noah II afterwards. Back at Takumi’s house, he discovers that the discovery of the formula branched the world (don’t understand). After this, Takumi decides to go back to his home, along with Rimi. When he gets there, he quickly rushes to where he thinks his home is, only to find that it isn’t there. At the end of this episode, we see Shogun go into a room, while the room is labeled Nishijo Takumi (scary…)
Review:
Another great episode to watch, more questions solved, and more people with Di-Swords. Nevertheless, I also like how we see that some people are putting up acts, while they are really something else (that is more scary). To make a long story short, this episode was good and the future episodes will also be this way too. I’m expecting much more questions solved in the future episodes, and I can’t wait for the next episode!

Chaos;Head Episode 8 Review

Summary:
First we see the police/detective Ban looking at some videos of Sena, which made him shocked due to having seeing her Di-Sword. Later, Takumi is at school waiting for Rimi to return, while she doesn’t. Later Kozupii calls Taku go to outside and prepare for the battle with Sena to destroy Noah II, he quickly refuses and makes Kozupii cry, thus the people in the classroom starting spreading rumors, therefore he took Kozupii outside. Outside, Sena is waiting and Taku didn’t want to go at first, but he decides to go in because he wants to learn more about what has been happening around him. They enter the company being disguised as executives, by creating delusions and sending them into the surround people’s blind spots. Later, Rimi is supposedly talking to Shogun, in which Rimi talks about how Shogun is going to die soon. Taku and group finally reaches Noah II, although the company’s president Norose appears to stop them. During the fierce battle, Taku was somehow able to look inside of Sena’s past only to realize that her real name is Hatano Sena and not Aoi Sena, in addition he sees that the company’s experiments caused the death of both Sena’s mother and younger sister. Just about when Sena and Kozupii was about to lose, Ayayse came over and helped them by turning Norose into ice, in which she collapsed afterwards. Norose later broke the ice and created delusions and made Sena and Kozupii fight eachother due to having both of them thinking that they are fighting with him. Just when Takumi was about to get killed, he unknowingly cancelled the particles inside both of the girls blind spots, which lead to a victory. When Noah II was destroyed the group finds out that it was a Noah II Prototype and the Norose they were fighting with was a delusion made from the Prototype. Next day, Takumi is extremely happy to see Rimi back at school. At the end of the episode, we see Norose talking to a Di-Sword (what?!?!?!)
Review:
This episode was darn good, instead of those confusing concepts this episode was mainly about fighting. In addition, I also like the dramatic change of Takumi’s personality since he started out more of a coward, and now he is starting to muster up some courage. Four more episodes to go, and I really hope that somehow there will be a second season (probably not…) anyways I’m looking forward how all of this confusing stuff will end.

Chaos;Head Episode 7 Review

Summary:
The huge earthquake caused a lot of deathe in addition to making Taku pass out for around a hour. Being scared, Taku wanted to find Rimi and decides to go to school to find her. Ayase jumps off the school roofs thinking that all the suffering of hers will disappear, when she jumps down Taku is able to make a “delusional” garden out of nothing to save Ayase. As a result, people around the school believe that Taku played around with her relationship. After we see this group of people from the comapny Nozomi talking about their new invention. Sena meets up with Taku and asks him if he is related with this person, which Taku denys, but we can guess that Rimi is related to that person since she looks like she is waiting for that “mysterious” person. Upon going back to school, Taku is laughed at by other people thus Kozupii talks to him leaving Taku scared because she uses telepathic abilites. Taku leaves school and is beaten up by people who were paid to do so. He falls down and seems to nearly reach his Di-Sword. After a while, Kozupii saves Taku, and tells Taku that she has a Di-Sword also. Unexpectingly, they meet up with Sena, and it looks like Kozupii and Sena are friends. Now we see The Nozomi group in meeting, where this person says that he has developed a machine called Noah II to use the powers of Gigalomaniacs to supposedly brainwash people with delusions. We also see that the Nozomi group has people carrying devices in their backpacks since they are mobile transmitters for Noah II. Next, Takumi learns that himself, Sena and Kozupii are all Gigalomaniacs with the power to transform delusions into reality. The Nozomi group decides to test the power of Noah II and makes a delusion of a run-away digger going on a rampage, seeing this Sena and Kozupii both rush on to destroy the trasmitters. Near the end of the episode, Taku, Sena and Kozupii form a group to stop Nozomi’s evil plans and decide to take a picture to commerate the forming of their group.
Review:
This episode was great, many “wow” factors, really clears up all the questions I wanted to ask. I also like how there is finally an explanation to how people like Taku (Gigalomaniacs) are able to turn delusions in reality. Furthermore, I like the introduction of the Nozomi group since it sets a clear enemy for the characters, since up until now their wasn’t an “evil” group like most animes have. Looks like the remaining episodes of this anime will be interesting to watch.

Chaos;Head Episode 6 Review
December 25, 2008 at 5:38 pm | In Anime, Chaos;Head | Leave a CommentTags: chaos, Chaos;Head, confusing, Di-sword, New Gene, Shogun, Taku

Summary:
The start of this episode shows Taku thinking about his past and what has happened to him recently (which is basically a recap). At school, Taku thinking about how reality can be created from delusions but is interrupted by Yuu, therefore he runs outside shouting and into the school’s courtyard. In the courtyard, Rimi finds Taku and tells his that she would be with him and protecting him. Taku and Rimi leave school together and wander inside a cafe, outside Taku sees people demonstrating about the New Gene incident and freaks out. When reaching home, Taku researches about how electronic devices can be able to spy on people’s thoughts. In Taku’s house, he starts having delusions about Rimi, also revealing he might start to like “three-dimensional” girls. Now we see Seira’s figurine seeming to make a sad, frowning expression. Taku enters his usual chat room while Rimi is out to buy drinks, and finds out that another New Gene incident has occurred thus making a doctor he knew die. Taku freaks out (again) and is later comforted by Rimi. Later we see Sena showing her Di-Sword in public and destroying this backpack with a machine inside of it. Next we see Ban-san coming inside this detective agency and learning more stuff about the New Gene case. Near the end of this episode, Taku receives a call which later produces weird sound-waves that affected everyone in the whole of Shibuya. It looks like something is beginning…
Review:
As always, still confusing but fun and interesting to watch. Slight ecchi, which took off the serious-ness of this episode and made it so the mood of the episode will be more varied. This episode is also good since Taku starts to become less “otaku” (at least I think so) because he starts getting interested in “three-dimensional” girls and that we don’t see him playing games as much. The surprising part of this episode was the end, I was shocked to see how a cell-phone emits sound-waves so large it can affect the whole city. In conclusion, this episode was great, halfway in the scheduled twelve episodes so I think that the plot will be moving quite fast in the future episodes.

Chaos;Head Episode 5 Review
November 28, 2008 at 1:59 pm | In Anime, Chaos;Head | Leave a CommentTags: chaos, Chaos;Head, confusing, Di-sword, New Gene

Summary:
This episode starts off with showing Seira-tan waking up Takumi while Takumi is somehow dreaming about Rimi. After waking up, Takumi dresses up and goes to school and meets Kouze, the new transfer student. School ends, and Takumi is walking home and he suddenly sees Sena. He starts following Sena but is soon lost. Takumi looks on the ground to find a long line of chains leading to this place, he follows the chain which leads him to Sena. Sena locks him inside, and tells him a bunch of information having one of them talking about how humans can be controlled through electronics. The next scene shows Yua typing up an email and sending it to Takumi, in the email it states that she would be visiting him the following day. Upon receiving the email, Takumi decides to run away and hide at his usual Internet cafe. Near midnight, Yua slams the door and finds Takumi, then she puts her hand over his mouth and tells him to keep quiet. Yua now tells him that, she wants to help him because she is aware of him being the New Gene criminal, in addition to telling him that he has multiple personalities. Takumi regards her as his enemy so therefore he doesn’t believe in a thing she says to him. Takumi escapes and runs into a park, until he is chased by even more people. After a long time of running, Takumi somehow meets up with Ayayse and they run together because both of them are suspects of the New Gene incident. Both of them has a information-packed conversation with Takumi asking how to get the Di-Sword. Ayase shows him, but is unable to tell him directly how to get the sword. Furthermore, she says that the Di-Sword is something from another dimension. Later on, it shows a conversation between the police detectives, with the senpai explaining how Shibuya attracts so much young people due to something about gravity. The last part shows Takumi’s friend giving him a link to MewTube, which shows a bunch of people committing suicide, just before they jump a person says “Those eyes, who’s eyes are they?”. Upon seeing thus Takumi, believes that it is Shogun who has filmed this video, thus meaning he is responsible for the New Gene incident.
Review:
I quite liked this episode, even though I cannot have so much information process into my mind. Just like most of this series episodes it gets quite confusing but also quite interesting to watch. The development of the story in this episode was truly amazing, it clearly separates the people who wants to help Takumi, and the people who want to catch him. I’m extremely excited about how much this series will go, because there’s only 12 episodes (but it may just be season 1) so I’m really curious to how things will develop. I’m looking forward to the next episodes.
