Summary:

While Toma is chasing Hyoka he instead meets up with Sherry who fights with him. Sherry explains how thirty years ago a group was formed in order to mix magic and science together, and that one of her partners Ellis was a physic who died after Sherry tried teaching her magic. As a result of this, Sherry wants to ignite a war between both sides so that both sides wouldn’t think of joining up again and such tragedies wouldn’t happen in the future. When Toma fights with Sherry he later remembers a part of Index’s saying and gives a blow onto her face. Toma gets angered by Sherry when she says how physics and magicians cannot be together and be friends, and Toma later defeats her. As soon as, Sherry falls down defeated, the golem Index encounters runs out of control but then Hyoka runs up and protects Index, while Hyoka says that only a monster should fight against a monster. Hyoka is unable to win against the golem but Toma comes over and dispells it with his Imagine Breaker. Mikoto also comes out of nowhere, and seems to be in love with Toma while predicting how Toma messed something up again. Mikoto’s sister, Kuroko comes out and teleports Mikoto away. Hyoka hides from everyone thinking that Index wouldn’t want her as her friend, although Index later appears and proves Hyoka wrong. Tsuchimikado later is seen talking to Aleister Crowley on how he is interested in the Imaginary Numbers Sector and how Aleister wants to create an artificial heaven. Hyoka departs with Index saying how that even if she disappears she may be right next to her without Index knowing it. Accelerator is still seen at the hospital with Last Order and Stiyl is seen with Laura Stuart the archbishop of Necessaruis.

Review:

This episode was great, Toma did much of the work here though. I personally think that this episode did quite a good job of summing up the series, and I’m really looking forward to it. The surprising depression of Sherry really shocked me, she had many sides to her which made it extremely confusing to the viewers. Toma is like the key to opening up the each of the girl’s heart upon meeting them (he’s pro…). In conclusion, this episode is quite good and I don’t really have much to say about it.

Final Thoughts:

This series is great, and I haven’t seen much of such a good series in a long long time. The characters of this series were quite interesting, and I think that Toma is the mots interesting character out of the huge cast. Toma is like super strong with his Imagine Breaker and it makes me wonder how he can defeat people purely with his punches, has he like learned some martial arts of something before? Furthermore, I also wonder how come Toma can have such a lucky harem, is like that Toma is a person in those visual novel games he can be with all these girls at once and make most of the girls take a liking to him (lucky guy…). Well one of the biggest mysteries of this series is that whether it will have a second season or not, which I’m pretty sure it will. Judging from the open-ended ending (or crappy ending), there seems to be many possibilities for this series to continue to develop. With the introduction of the archbishop I’m pretty sure that she will be introduced much more in the later series. This series had some really funny moments and really weird stuff along with that, there also is a bunch of scientific terms which make my head spin. Somehow this series was good in keeping the ecchi-ness for the viewers such as myself, a little fan-service every now and then really makes the viewers happy. If I were to ever choose between a physic and a magician, I would choose being a physic since magicians have to take time memorizing all those chants as well as taking time to prepare their spells. Well, this series shouldn’t have ended that fast and I’m hoping to see an announcement of a second season for this series, till then!

Summary:

Toma stops Sherry’s golem with his Imagine Breaker, and destroys that golem. Sherry summons another one, but Toma is backed up by the Anti-Skills who protects both Kazakiri and Toma. With the help of Anti-Skills, Toma is able to destroy the golem again, and allow the threat to be gone for a while. After, Sherry escapes to find her next target who is Index. Since the doors to the outside from the underground mall is still closed, Kazakiri decides to save Index by using her own ability, since she can regenerate herself. Index and Mikoto are waiting for Toma, but suddenly Sphinx runs away and Index goes to chase Sphinx. In the past, Kazakiri has been unable to contact with the outside world, until she finally met Index, and many things that she did was a “first” in her life. Index finally finds Sphinx, and Sherry’s golem tries to attack Index but Index disrupts the magic. Index successfully disrupts the golem although the golem finally is changed into “auto” mode. Index is about to get attacked but suddenly the episode ends.

Review:

This episode is great, although I think that this series shouldn’t be ending so soon. The next episode will be the last episode, and I’m really looking forward to how the plot will develop. In this episode I finally saw how cool Index can actually be, since with so many books “implanted” all inside her, she can easily disrupt and destroy magic although she will need some person to back her up. I personally think that the plot could have been altered a bit since right now, the plot is escalating quite fast and many things are happening one after another. Many characters from the start have seemed to disappeared and I’m wondering if they will show up in the next episode. I won’t be reviewing the last episode until I the next weekend.

Summary:

Right after Index and Kazakiri both have finished eating, both of them goes into an arcade, but then they are forced to evacuate later since Judgement said that there will be a terrorist attack inside the underground complex. When trying to escape, the doors to the exit suddenly get closed and Mikoto and Kuruko meets up with them. Mikoto and Index are both suspicious with eachother’s relationship to Toma, where the both seem to fight for Toma. Seeing this, Kuruko teleports  both Index and Mikoto away. With only Toma and Kazakiri left, Toma told Kazakiri to stay at the place and Toma goes to find and stop the golem. Toma is seen by one of Komoe’s colleagues, and tries to attack Sherry. Suddenly, Kazakiri comes over and gets attack which makes her lose part of her body, which shows this prism object inside her head. Kazakiri flees and Sherry chased her, Komoe calls Toma and tells Toma that Kazakiri isn’t human, and that she is made from a bunch of physic’s AIM fields merged together. Kazakiri tries to hide, but Sherry finds her and calls her a monster. Sherry’s golem is about to punch Kazakiri but Toma shows up and stops it with his Imagine Breaker.

Review:

This episode was good, although that ending wasn’t quite good, since it prompts me to want to watch the next episode. Before watching this episode, I thought that Kazakiri was just either a physics or a mage of some sort. After seeing this episode, it makes me think that Toma has some kind of special ability that attracts all this girls close to him (jealous >.>). I’m really looking forward to how Toma will defeat Sherry, and I wonder if the remaining two episodes will be good.

Summary:

Toma finally starts his first day of school, and meets up with Mikoto on his way going there. Index was told to stay home, but since she thought that she won’t be getting lunch she following Toma to school. Upon getting to school, Toma meets up with Komoe and when homeroom starts Index pops-in, and then followed by Himegami. Index is told to leave, but instead she wonders around and meets up with another transfer student named Hyoka Kazakiri and becomes friends with her. Toma later stumble upon the two, but when Komoe comes to find Toma, Hyoka mysteriously vanishes. After the opening ceremony, Hyoka, Index and Toma later decide to have lunch together, but when Toma meets Himegami when he is taking money from the ATM, Himegami told him that Hyoka was in her previous school and that she is called “Counter Stop”, in addition to her being one of the school’s top level physics. When Toma and group go down a underground street for lunch, Kuruko meets up with Sherry and attacks her, then Sherry uses a golem to attack Kuruko, who is later saved by Mikoto. Sherry later casts a spell which sends tons of moving eyeballs running around in the city.

Review:

This episode was quite good, and with the introducing of two new characters I’m pretty sure that the plot will start to get better. With only three episode left, the sudden introducing of new characters made me believe that there will indeed be a season two since many matters seem to be untouched at this point. (Well I haven’t watched episode 24 yet, so this thought may change). During this episode Kuroko finally uses her abilities for fighting, which somehow made me think of Bleach, since teleport is similar to shunpo. Despite having more enemies, this episode still kept its comedy along with ecchi, and that made this episode quite interesting to watch.

Summary:

At the start of this episode, we see some of Accelerator’s past where he was chased by many people including the army, although he was able to kill all of them due to his ability. Accelerator later returns to the restaurant and finds out that Ao Amai took Last Order away with him. Accelerator somehow manages to find Amai, and knocks Amai out. Surprisingly the virus initiated before their anticipated and Accelerator waits for Yoshikawa to get to his location. After finding out that it is too late, Accelerator uses his power and a clean copy of Last Order’s data to re-program her and remove the virus. However, near the end of cleaning up the virus, Amai stands up and shoots Accelerator who is unable to reflect the bullet because of his concentration. Amai tries to finish up Accelerator later gets shot by Yoshikawa, and later both of them shoot eachother. When Yoshikawa awakens at the hospital, the skilled doctor Heaven Canceller, who seems to also be the same person who has saved Toma multiple times, tells her that Accelerator saved her, although he now suffers from brain damage and needs rehabilitation to regain his powers.

Review:

This episode still didn’t show Toma at all, although I was quite happy to see a good new ending. Accelerator finally shows his good side of his personality and decides to save Last Order other than his life, because he didn’t completely reflect the bullet, but has only stopped it right before reaching his brain. Anyways, with four episodes left, I guess that the plot will start to move really fast. I’m really looking forward to how this episode will end in addition to the possibility of a second season.

Summary:

After a long time of disappearance, Accelerator is shown being targeted by punks since he has lost to Toma, although he still possesses the ability to easily kill the punks. Accelerator is later followed by a younger Misaka clone who calls herself the Last Order and begins to follow Accelerator around even though that he feels annoyed. Accelerator takes Last Order to a restaurant is sees a researcher, Ao Amai, but decides not to chase him. As Last Order eats, she talks with Accelerator on how she believes that Accelerator was an unwilling participant of the project as he seems to dislike the fact of killing the same person over and over again. Not long, Accelerator leaves her at the restaurant to confront Yoshikawa, a researcher in charge of the project, where she informs him that Last Order was not created for the Sisters project, but for administrating the Misaka Network. Yoshikawa later states that Ao Amai injected a virus into Last Order, which could spread to the other Misakas and cause them to go berserk and attack humans. In order to stop the virus, she gives Accelerator the choice of finding Ao Amai to explain how to stop the virus or returning Last Order to her incubator. Unexpectedly, Accelerator chooses to return Last Order back to her incubator to stop the virus from spreading at midnight.

Review:

This episode was ok, I was actually starting to forget about Accelerator as he hasn’t done much after his fight with Toma. Accelerator also didn’t seem as a crazy murderer, since from this episode viewers are shown much more to his kind side as to his evil side. The new introduction of the character Misaka Misaka, or Last Order seems to a very interesting character to me, which somehow reminds me a little of Index. The little girl size, is surprisingly cute and the way see talks is quite cute also. Judging from the next episode’s preview it will be focused on Accelerator again, and Toma and Index will have to lose some of their airing time.

Summary:

Toma suddenly awake during midnight, and sees the sleeping figure of Index. Seeing this, Toma is aroused by the sight Index, which makes Index bite Toma, in addition to allowing Toma to finally understand that this is the last day of his summer vacation. On the other hand, Mikoto is trying to enjoy her last day of summer vacation although she is being stalked by Mitsuki Unabara, the Tokiwadai Middle School principal’s grandson since last week. In an attempt to make him give up, she pretends to go on a date with Toma so that Unabara will stop stalking her. Toma somehow meets up with Unabara on the street, but is later surprised to see another person who looks exactly like Unabara running into a restaurant that Mikoto has entered. Toma gets attacked by the Unabara he meets, and runs away from him while asking Index about the abilities of this magician. Toma runs and runs until he gets to this construction site where he finally fights him, and the imposter reveals that he had been sent to prevent the formation of the “Kamijo Faction”, a group of mages and physics lead by Toma who poses to be a treat to both science and magic realms. After being severly injured the imposter reveals how he actually really loves Mikoto, and that Toma should be the person to protect her from now onwards. Mikoto is hiding in the corner and is embarrassed when she hears Toma’s agreement to the imposter.

Review:

Sorry for the late post today, by the way just some heads up that bakarang3r seems to be sick so therefore I guess he won’t be posted for a while. Anyways, This episode was great, it finally shows a new enemy for Toma and group. I really wonder why the imposter’s face was messed up in this episode, which somehow made him look like a demon. I don’t really have much to saw about this episode, it was good. I’m looking forward to the future episodes where Toma and group will face stronger and better enemies.

Summary:

Toma confronts his father about casting Angel Fall, and later discovers his father knows absolutely nothing about the spell. Misha appears out of nowhere, along with Kanzaki who later reveals that Misha is an impostor taking advantage of her appearance as Sasha Kruezhev, a member of Annihilatus. Misha seems to have the power of god, since she is now an angel summoned from angel fall. In order to ascend back to heaven again, the angel has to destroy the world in order to go back to heaven. Kanzaki fights with the angel, although she is certain that she can only stall time in order to let Toma destroy the spell. Tsuchimikado meets up with Toma and his dad, where Tsuchimikado explains how by arranging the occult souvenirs in a special way, the spell angel fall was started and Toma’s new house has became the ritual suit. Tsuchimikado later knocks out both Toma and his dad, and therefore casts a magic to destroy the magical bind of angel fall. This causes the angel to return to heaven, along to having Tsuchimikado dead. Toma returns to the hospital he is shocked by meeting Tsuchimikado , thus Tsuchimikado explain to him that he was just lying and that he has the physic ability of auto-regeneration. Tsuchimikado also states that he can still cast magic since he was regenerate his body back even though he suffers from damage. Toma also meets with his parents, including his real mom. In the end, Index is seen angry at Toma since of the many things Toma did her under the effects of angel fall. Like usual, Index bites Toma in the head.

Review:

This episode was quite good, Toma’s father was indeed the person who casted this spell although it was just by coniencidence. This episode also seemed to have got a new opening, which seemed to reveal more characters whom I’m quite interested into seeing. Tsuchimikado’s ability was really fanscinating, since he has become a hybird of both a magician and physic. I’m looking forward to the future episodes, as it seems that Toma is going back to his school again.

Summary:

Toma is unaffected by Angel Fall, so everyone decides to find out who the caster is since the caster must be someone close to Toma. Tsuchimikado and Kanzaki both are able to cast a counter spell disguising themselves as others, and live in at the inn with Toma’s “fake” family. Tsuchimikado also explains to Toma how Kanzaki is has a “stigma” which is an ability to call upon God’s powers temporarily, and it was given to her because she was born as the leader of this Catholic group. One night, Toma talks with Misha and gets suspicious the next day since Misha is afraid to touch Toma’s right hand. Toma’s mother and Misha decide to go back when Toma’s mother  insists on returning home because she forget to lock the door. Not long after both of them left, Toma talks with Tsuchimikado and Kanzaki where Toma tells about Misha who later decides to chase after his mom and Misha. Tsuchimikado and Toma seemed to have got back first and slowly search the house. Toma finds out that in a picture of his dad, his dad looks completely the same. Toma gets suspicious and Toma’s mother and Misha opens the door. Misha runs away and Toma chases her. Toma gets a free ride back to the inn, and immediately goes to find his father in order to stop him from destroying the world.

Review:

This episode was quite good, somewhere in the middle of this episode, I was already guessing that Toma’s father was the caster. What confuses me is how come Misha is afraid to touch Toma’s hand, in addition to having run away when she sees him. This makes me wonder if Misha is somehow related to Toma’s dad. This episode was still filled with a sufficient amount of comedy, and I’m really looking forward to what Toma’s dad will do and who exactly is his dad and Misha.

Summary:

After defeating Accelerator Toma and Index both go to the beach because some higher-ups in Toma’s school has said that Toma will have to leave Academy City. Toma tells Index about this and Index decides to tag along, although somehow Aisa was missing. They are moved next to the beach where they go through quite a normal time. The next morning, Toma’s parents come over which makes Toma feel worried for the whole night, as he has lost his memories and he is hoping that his family wouldn’t find out. Anyways, the next morning, his parents arrive where it seems that all their appearances and personality have changed, for example Toma’s mother became Index. This is shocking to Toma, who later thinks that this is just a prank everyone put together to play on him, although when he gets back to the inn, he notices that Index has turned in a guy which scares Toma even more. Toma opens the TV and sees footage on the White House where Kuroko transformed into America’s President which was a parody on Obama. Toma goes to the beach for a while, but later decides to leave because he cannot take it anymore and when he is walking back to the inn he is attacked by this girl. The girl tries to kill him thinking Toma is the jutsu master, although Kanzaki and Motoharu come and save Toma. They later tell Toma about how this spelled called Angel Fall is being casted around him, and is affecting the whole world. The girl trying to kill Toma is also later revealed to be a magician from Russia. The episode ends when Motoharu tells Toma that he was from Necessarius.

Review:

This episode was extremely funny. The first part made me think that this is just some weird filler. Everything was messed up, it really made me freak out, because it will be unimaginable to see our world turn that way. Grandmas were otakus, and sumos were dressed as school girls, this really freaked me out. From this episode, it make me like Index more as Index seemed quite cute in this episode. Even with so much comedy, at the end it started to get serious again, although I’m pretty sure that it wont last for long. I’m looking forward to the next episode, since I’m sure that there will be more distorted sights along with the discovery of the unknown jutsu master casting this Angel Fall.

Summary:

Having somehow surviving the dust explosion set off by Accelerator, Toma starts beating up Accelerator badly with his Imagine Breaker (right hand). Since Accelerator’s powers are dispelled by Toma’s right hand Toma easily wins against him. Accelerator later think of forming a plasma, by compressing all the air together in one spot, but later Mikoto comes over and saves him. Mikoto calls all her clones (Misaka) to use their electricity powers in order to turn the wind turbines located around the city, since the wind are blowing randomly Accelerator is unable to gather and compress the wind in one spot. Accelerator gets angry and launches forward to Toma, but since he isn’t smart enough to realize Toma’s power, Toma easily knocks him out. When Toma wakes up, he is in the hospital with Misaka telling him that the experiment is going to stop in addition to the fact that they will be going back to the research facilities for some modification.  Next morning, Mikoto comes over with a box of cookies as a gift to thanks Toma for stopping the experiment, later on Index comes over and bites Toma as usual.

Review:

This episode was funny in some places, one part is how stupid Accelerator was since he still hasn’t realized that his powers won’t work on him if he is touched by Toma’s Imagine Breaker.  Another thing, is when Accelerator starts compressing the wind the ball looks like Goku’s Spirit Bomb from DragonBallZ (just random, but haven’t almost all the attacks/skills/abilities in this series seem to be blue colored?…). Furthermore, when the Misaka clones were powering up the wind turbines it made me think of the Telsa Coils in the Red Alert series, since they are able to be powered up in order to shoot faster. In conclusion, this anime was extremely funny since it brought so much connection to other stuff that I know. For those waiting for the last episode/series summary for Chaos;Head and Kemeko Deluxe…I guess I’ll have to wait until I get this long vacation/break and I stay at home.

Summary:

Misaka arrives at this train station place, and keeping thinking about Toma in her mind, which confuses her. At the same time, Komoe Index and Aisa at are a Japanese bath house, where Komoe starts explaining the ability and development of physics in more detail. After Toma regains his consciousness he sees the Mikoto is crying on top of him, where he decides that if he (a level zero) defeats the strongest level five (Accelerator), so that the scientists will think the Accelerator is illegible for the experiment. Mikoto tries convincing Toma not to go to Accelerator, although she still tells him Accelerator’s location. Accelerator and Misaka start fighting, and Misaka easily gets defeated although Toma suddenly appears in time to rescue her.  Accelerator is impressed by the courage that Toma has, and overpowers Toma. Accelerator gets shocked when he sees that Toma’s right hand cancels out his ability. Accelerator later releases a lot of flour, in which he triggers a dust explosion.

Review:

This episode was great, the talking parts were kept short and simple and the action was good. I liked seeing the shocked expression on Accelerator after he is touched by Toma’s right hand, it was really funny. It seems pretty obvious that Mikoto has seem to take a liking to Toma, looks like Toma has a harem life…(jealous >.>) All in all, this episode was good and I guess that the episode will start to get better and better after this one.

Summary:

It starts off with Komoe explaining to Index the Schrodinger theory with a chocolate box, which she later uses to describe esper/physic abilities. Mikoto later remember in that in the past, the doctors told her that her power of electricity will save many lives of the crippled and nearly dead, only to learn that later on the doctors used her power and created clones (sisters). Mikoto is also shocked by that fact that her clones are used to fight against Accelerator hoping to evolve him into a level six. Toma seems to know the details of the experiment and confronts Mikoto. Mikoto then says that if she gave up her life, then all the remaining ten thousand clones of her will live. Toma is completely against the idea and tries to stop her. Mikoto gets angry and attacks Toma several times. After standing up from the multiple shocks, Mikoto is moved and start crying. Toma later starts thinking of a way to stop the experiment.

Review:

This episode was good, one reason being I haven’t watched anime in a long time. The only thing I disliked about this episode was the constant talking between Mikoto and Toma, I though that I could have been cut a little shorter. Seeing this, it makes me afraid of what will happen in the future, when technology evolve to such a rate. Nevertheless, this episode was quite good to watch, and there will be many more reviews to come after this.

Summary:

Misaka is being chased down by Accelerator where she easily gets killed because Accelerator has the ability to change vector values of anything he touches (I don’t quite get that myself…). Toma later finds Misaka dead and is shocked which makes him call the police. The police arrive to find that nothing is there, while Toma runs more into the dark alley trying to find her. Toma then realizes that Misaka is a clone of Mikoto and that all of the clones share memories and thoughts. Toma goes off trying to find Mikoto and stumbles upon her little sister instead, since Mikoto seems to be away and isn’t back at her dorm yet. When the dorm inspector is about to come in the room, Kuroko urges to stuff Toma under the bed where Toma later finds a document talking about the “Sisters” experiment. As of my understanding (I might be wrong) it is this, the “Sisters” experiment are a bunch of clones made in order to make the level five physics in Academy City level up, so lets compare this to a rpg. The level fives all have to kill a certain amount of “Sisters” (or monsters) in order to level up into a level six (someone correct me if I am wrong).

Review:

This episode was…great, don’t have much to say. I expected that Misaka was a clone already, since she talks in a weird way in addition to having those weird looking eyes. I didn’t really quite get the part where Aisa and Komoe are eating dinner together which Index later joins in, I think that it is just for adding a little comedy to this episode. I have completely no idea when I’ll stop posting multiple reviews of this, but I’m pretty sure there will still be a lot more to come.

Summary:

On a rooftop at night, a school girl shoots a person codenamed Accelerator but instead the school girl has her sniper bullets deflected resulting in her death. Later, Toma  returns from his make-up classes where he gets his two thousand yen bill stuck inside a vending machine, Mikoto comes and blasts the vending machine with her electricity, making tons of canned drinks fall out. Toma runs away because he doesn’t want to become her accomplice, but is chased down by her carrying all the drinks. Both of them sit down on a bench where Toma then meets up with Kuroko, who is Mikoto’s sister in addition to having the ability to teleport. Then Toma meets up with Misaka who is Mikoto’s little sister (actually a clone), which makes him confused since they almost look alike. Next day at class, Toma realizes that Mikoto used to be a level one, in which she trained hard until she is now a level five physic. Upon going home, Toma meets up with Mikoto again where Mikoto talks about the Tree Diagram, which is said to be a super computer.

Review:

I really ran out of idea to say, just for those who want to know the series is just plain good, nothing much to say about that. I found almost every episode to be good, therefore I think that I shouldn’t write much about it here. This episode seems to have the first ecchi scene, which really shocked me, since I didn’t believe this anime to have it. Some people may be asking about the multiple reviews of  To Aru Majutsu no Index, and I have to reply that I am truly intrigued by this series and I guess that it will eventually stop soon.
