Summary:
The army’s commander has noticed that his Tessik research is betraying him, and therefore threatens to kill him if he doesn’t obey his orders. Akiyaki lives a weird life with the grandma, where he still has no idea who he is, and gets a job as a mail-man delivering mail to people in the village. Nakiami and Yangon continue their long journey where they seemed to have been caught into a blizzard. Haru meets the commander where she tells that she will do anything in order to not let her younger sister, Midori be used as an experiment. Later at night, Haru is given the chance to escape confinement. Nakiami is guided by a monster, and reaches the Tessik village where she is greeted by her younger sister.
Review:
This episode had quite a surprising turn of event, after a long time of sad parts this episode finally gave hope to the characters. Haru gets freed which really made me happy, as she didn’t have to live in a prison anymore. Akiyuki is starting to live a better life, even without his memories I really hope that he gets back his memories sometime soon, and he will be able to remove his mask. I’m looking forward to how the future episodes will be like and what will happen to the characters.

Xam’d Lost Memories Episode 16 Review

Summary:
Nakiami and Yango continue their journey to reach Nakiami’s homeland. Both of them are stopped at this port, as people dislike Tessiks (I think I spelled it right), and didn’t allow them to cross the river. Another Tessik sees this and decides to help them, although they are on a third-class ship. The army receives this new person to experiment on although the researcher seems to try and keep him alive, which was overheard by the commander. The army also took in Haru’s sister Midori to enroll in the army, and it seems that she is learning pretty fast. Near dawn, Nakiami and Yango decided to camp out at a cave, although Yango later runs away when Nakiami searches around and makes Nakiami worry. After meeting up with Yango again, Nakiami tells how she lived quite a closed life in her childhood. The army’s new experiment talks to Haru using a spell, telling what she should do in addition to apologizing for making Midori join the army. Near the end, this ballon is seen talking to this grandma which leads to Akiyuki and later persuades the grandma to buy Akiyuki.
Review:
This episode was quite good, it really made me hate the army members. I mean taking little kids who has only one leg and without knowing anything to join the army, is really cruel. It made me think that the army people are fags and are selfish, while taking in Midori when Haru is obviously strongly against it. The postal ship crew, finally made slight appearance in this episode, as they are still on the island not doing much, this was good as I nearly forgot about them. I’m looking forward to how the future episodes will develop and what will happen to Akiyuki, especially how does he get back his memories.

Xam’d Lost Memories Episode 15 Review
March 27, 2009 at 9:05 am | In Anime, Xam'd Lost Memories | Leave a CommentTags: Akiyuki, Haru, Nakiami, xam'd, Xam'd Lost Memories

Summary:
Akiyuki looks like that he still has his Xam’d mask on, in addition to having him have no idea who he actually is, thus Akiyuki is taken away as a slave. Haru is shocked by thew news of Furuichi’s death, and is later locked up in a prison. Nakiami rides her Kayak in order to try and get to a village. After running out of oil, Nakiami lands in this city where she later meets this little boy Xam’d. She treats the Xam’d, and tell hims not to use his powers and as a result it makes the boy want to follow Nakiami.
Review:
I haven’t watched Xam’d in a long time, so I have forgot many things already. Well, this episode was quite good, I didn’t expect that a new Xam’d will come out, and I’m wondering if maybe there will be more introduced. I’m pondering about how Akiyuki will be saved, as he forgot everything. I’m looking forward to the next episodes and what kind of sad lives these characters will have.

Xam’d Lost Memories Episode 14 Review
December 20, 2008 at 7:59 pm | In Anime, Xam'd Lost Memories | Leave a CommentTags: Akiyuki, Furuichi, Nakiami, sad, xam'd

Summary:
It starts off, with Furuichi thinking about the past relationship between the three of them. Furuichi transforms into a Xam’d, which is surprisingly ugly, and doesn’t listen to Nakiami because he doesn’t want to make a promise with her, like Akiyuki did. As a result, Akiyuki and Furuichi fight each-other leaving Haru extremely worried. Throughout the battle, Furuichi keeps evolving into a scarier and uglier Xam’d who is obviously defeated later by Akiyuki’s full Xam’d transformation. Furuichi somehow sucks Haru into his body, making Akiyuki angry. Nakiami later blows up Furuichi’s Xam’d form making him turn back into a human, and making Haru come out of his body. Just when things seemed to be going well, the army comes out and captures Akiyuki and Furuichi. Nakiami runs away to safety, while Akiyuki takes the commander as hostage and runs away with him. The commander tries to negotiate with Akiyuki, but Akiyuki quickly realizes that he is being lured into a trap and escapes. Not soon, Akiyuki gets shot by the military and falls into the river. Furuichi somehow escapes from the military, and later suicides because he didn’t believe that he was meant to be alive. Near the end of the episode, Akiyuki is shown to be rescued by some person, and is put onto a train, which also reveals that he lost his memory in addition to having the Xam’d mask permanently stuck to his face.
Review:
This episode was great, nice amount of fighting and also a good amount of plot development. There was also a sufficient amount of sadness, which kept the story/plot interesting. I also like the unexpected ending, because I didn’t think that Akiyuki and Nakiami will be seperated from each-other, which made the story turn out to be more interesting. I wonder how will the plot develop, I cannot wait to watch the next episode!
Important Note:
I will be going with my family onto a family vacation since it is winter break/vacation. I will be out for around four or five days (time zone differences). During this time, I believe that bakarang3r will be contining to post. Happy Early Christmas everyone! My last post in a while…
